Aye... The whole reporter on ship thing would have been a stronger part of the story if it was Emily Wong... I talked to Chobot 3 times in the game, when you ''recruit'' her and then when she interviews you... And it just felt like a weak after-thought to have her on-board...

Same as I did. Only did the inteviews, didn't care about her the rest of the time. Maybe because her clothes annoyed me that much. Alliance swimsuit or whatever she wears

Ohhh... The ''Standard''-Issue clothes... Srsly, the colonist-outfit that Shepard has looks better than what she was wearing...

this would be my simple yet ideal Ending.. Can easily be expanded upon.

Final battle VS Harbinger

Shepard + squad/ push fleet (tanks, ground troops etc) all pitch into the fight?

You get to control what the ground force does with Dialogue??? (Depending on what you choose, will give you different outcomes to what harbinger destorys ETC.. just being brief here but can expand) - EMS WOULD ACTUALLY MEAN SOMETHING!

Joker keeps swinging past hitting harbinger and bailing/turning around hitting again giving you a chance to line up harbinger up with A laser Designated assault from the space fleets.

Finally, after an epic battle once destorying the Reaper 'leader' sends the Reaper fleet into disarray, giving you (shepard) a chance to get to the conduit, Activate the Cruible and send the Reapers to hell??

*YAYAYAYA* everyone wins, lah lah etc fleets leave to their designated homeworlds thanking you for everything and always being in your debt, sherpard drives off into the distance on his motorbike with LI and on the way you give high fives to your entire Squad from ME2/ME3 and go live out life somewhere.

THE END EVERYONE IS HAPPY.

Cliche? yes. BUT WHO CARES??

Every fan leaving the game satisfied? yes.

Artistic Integraty? N/A

I'd love for you to expand! I absolutely love reading other ideas about how the ending could have played out :) Makes me feel happy and I try to convince myself this stuff actually happened !

speaking of characters and emails, who here actually was expecting to run into Shiala on the Citadel? I was until all i got was that email from her....

I wasn't expecting it at all, mainly because I play on PS3 and they cut a whole hell of a lot from the PS3 version seeing as how a lot of PS3 owners wouldn't know who the ME1 characters were. It kind of annoyed me though that on PS3 everyone you could have saved in ME1 were all dead, like Kirrahe and Conrad.

I still can't believe you could romance her after 1 conversation/ What was the point of that? every other LI you have to talk to alot to find out more about each other before flirting and then getting serious. She can't wait to get your space trousers off!

Just wanted to say I was very upset that Kal Reegar didn't have an actual part in the game :(

Kal Reegar + Shepard = Instant win against the repearswithout the need for the crucible and no casulties.

Mr Chr15topher wrote...

There was an email about him if he
lived in ME2. He sacrificed himself to save a group of colonists and
get them on a shuttle. [...]

Really how could I miss this?

Actually Kal Reegar refused to evacuate and died along with his squad holding a crucial installation, waiting till Krogan reinforcements arrived. He was honoured by the Turian Hierarchy for this deed. Thats what i remember from an email in me3.

I preferred the outfit that you got in Kasumi's loyalty mission in ME2 to what they give you in ME3.

yea she is pretty annoying(also in real life like you say) i dont even think i went down to her area of the ship the whole game

You didn't miss anything. She didn't have a single dialogue wheel option the entire game, except for the base one where you can kick her off your ship.

You can only listen to her through that clickable dialogue. Sometimes when you walk into her room, she's in the middle of a conversation with Traynor about what's going on in the galaxy. You don't get to interact with her though.

The only way you can talk to her meaningfully is if you have her as your LI... But who the hell wants that? Seriously. Lol.

I'm regret not taking the option to kick her off my ship. She's worth only 5 war assets. You get double that for simply not punching Khalisah Al-Jilani.

I think the more concerning point is that she mentioned in one of her tweets or something that she was going to romance herself in the game - I found that wrong on so many levels....

I'm just glad the ending DLC comes out in the summer so hopefully won't be at uni and that means I can dedicate WEEKS and WEEKS to doing all three again (If the Ending DLC works)

Wow, it's amazing how clueless this guy is. And he calls himself an "analyst" lol.
It's not hard to figure out who doesn't have a clue about what's going on with the ME3 ending. Just look for anyone thinking the expanded cut dlc contains "new choices," and then ignore everything they say because they clearly don't even understand that expanding on poo does not equal new non-poo.

Now that would have been unforgivable.

I didn't know who she was before this either. Her character didn't really annoy me, she wasn't important enough to annoy me in all honesty, but her voice acting (or lack-there-of) was dreadful. I could have done better and that's saying a whole heck of a lot.

I wasn't very annoyed at the fact and I didn't know who she was before the game either. What baffles me is the fact that they choose to bring her aboard in the first place.

I get the idea of having an embedded reporter aboard, but wouldn't it make more sense if she was in the crew-quarters or a smaller place instead of taking up the room of a whole squadmate?

And than the romance option. Out of all the deep chracters with 3 games of development, why make the one that is introduced a quarter into the third available?

Like I said, it doesn't annoy me, but it doesn't strike me as a reasonable choice.

Ok I'm sure this has been discussed to death but what exactly was the point in getting an IGN reporter to do the voice of a character in ME3? Was it just them trying to be clever because I found it very obvious she wasn't a professional voice actor and it really annoyed me. If they want to hire non-pros for any future games I might as well put my name forward...

Edit: just realized someone else posted a similar comment while I was typing this lol

It was a gimmick.  Part of the problem was too much attention was taken up with gimmicks instead of just focusing on good content.  Tell you what, how about you go cancel that "space edition" PR grab and instead give me a couple more lines of dialogue with my LI or how about a quest journal which actually updates.

that is my second most hated thing next to the ending, the quest journal was horrible

What about the fact that you couldn't even get a significant sidequest in the first place to even bother your journal with. That bugged me.

What bugged me even more was the fact that we had only 6 squadmates. Without a single one from ME2.

What was the worst was that none of your decisions from ME 1 and 2 matter in the slightest at any point in the game. That's at least as important as the endings.

What about... Ok, I'll stop.

I just don't get why femShep didn't get to wear the leather jacket, but only that spandex dress instead.
Not that it didn't look awesome when my femShep kicked Vega's ass in a dress, mind you.. :P
But still, a leather jacket seems much more in character than a cocktail dress.

[edit: minor issue, considering everything, I know]

I never wear the cocktail dress, all it ever screams at me is prostitu** so I just stuck with the N7 hoody (which FYI I loved!)
