Look at the reviews of people who get the games early. There are always a few people who get them a couple of weeks before everyone somehow.Major Swift wrote...

Nah, I just think that reviewers and the such aren't doing their jobs.
Also, not reading reviews doesn't change the fact that they are still extremely biased. In this instant you all may not have read the reviews, but what about next time?
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Ah, but there-in lies the problem. This is not just for BioWare games, but for any that you go to buy. How do you know that any of them are actually honest?
If anything, recent events have shown us that a lot of reviewers seem to swing from un-biased to biased, depending on the weather. So as is, we can never be sure.

Hmm... Maybe we should set up our own gaming review site? ''By the fans, for the fans.''

The game is insanely linear on the whole though. Every single major decision from ME1 and ME2 that could've made an impact didn't. Not a one.
That's the problem. This is exactly what the game was supposed to be about. Seeing the repercussions of our actions. We don't see any of them.
I could understand the need for a bit of a linear story if the game got upwards of 60 hours long... But it wasn't. It was barely even 30 hours long at it's core. Even Mass Effect 2 had 50+ hours to take away, given it's general rigid nature.
I'm not even asking for 2 seperate storylines (though there should've been something where you could've joined cerberus.) There should be some variety somewhere. If the game was as short as it was, and managed little to no variety in it's story... the only explanation is that they didn't have the time to make the game properly (which they didn't). So the 18 months was a huge factor in how shallow the game ended up being. Whether this is EA's fault or Bioware's I don't care. I'm just upset that I didn't get the game I was promised. And when the people who made these promises realized they couldn't back them up, they started lying.
Don't get me wrong I'm with you on that one. My point is that if the ending wasn't the way it is those would not be the things I'd be especially upset about.
In conclusion yes it builds up with the "promises" we heared + the ending we got. So those aspects leave a bitter taste in our mouths.

I think that is how most generally start. But again, you need to be part of a rather large review site to get early copies (or even reviewer copies). So any reviews we did would be after release, which wouldn't help with Pre-Order purchases.
Edit- I'm up for it though, but I wouldn't be able to do reviews till after release dates.

One thing though, how many games would make you feel as angry and upset as ME3's ending?
I mean I have bought and played several different games that I heartily disliked, but that was it. "Nah I didn't like that game at all" *trades it in*

Problem there is a lot of games and distributers are going digital and removing the ability to return whatever you don't like. EA seems to be clamping down as much as possible on people re-selling or trading in, so are others, simply because it effects their bottom line (they aren't getting any of the money past original sale).
So, really, reviewers are becoming more crucial now than ever before.
Edit- To your question; Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.5 (I refuse to call it number 3, because it was pretty much just a redo of 2). And Dragon Age 2...cause...wells...those caves...they haunt me
There are other games that ****** me off, but not always about the story. Sometimes its PR issues, other times its how things are released...generally, it always involves Microsoft or EA though

Yeah but it wouldn't be a site to help up pre-orders would it? I mean I would think it would be better for it to be a site for people who don't intend to pre-order anyway.
But Again that would still be one or a few peoples opinions on said game, whereas for anyone only your own personal opinion matters.

This is the first game that has actively upset me. There have been a number of games that I didn't enjoy or ended in a way I wasn't keen on but it didn't really bother me I just went and played something else. The ME series has been so amazing and with all the promises I was expecting something epic.xHezz90 wrote...

Yup... It's kinda sad that they have chosen to go this route... I was already used to not being able to trade in games for the pc cause of the cd-key, but srsly... Adding a seperate key for MP for the Ps3 and Xbox is just insane... But they did it anyways

Could do podcast reviews on games via skype or something similar for some of the bigger games and written reviews of some of the smaller games.
