Yeah and that would be fine but still I say only your own personal opinion matters.

Lots and lots of people hated/or disliked DA2, but I liked it.

^^^ This.
Best type of reviews.
Having multiple people pick apart one game. They can point out each others biased areas and account for it.

Myself for instant, I am a "sandbox" gamer (EVE Online, Mount & Blade and so on). I would be biased towards games like that, but would easily be able to point things out about games like TOR, WOW, Call of Duty and so on.
Don't get me wrong, I like RTS, RPGs and some FPS...but I can be a lot more impartial in relation to them.

i didn't hate it with a passion like some have but i could see the things people could be upset about, Anders really made me angry there at that one part, i liked it overall but could see the flaws

Ah, I liked DA2s story. But I could easily pick apart the issues in relation to things like the reused areas and the such.
Having several people compare their results for their reviews, before posting, would mean that all bases should generally be covered. Just make sure that all the reviewers aren't all the same type of gamer though...lol

As I said earlier, record reviews done via skype or something similar, that way there is no need for an office or for people to travel to get together. Plus where they will be from different places and backgrounds, can provide mixed reviews.

That's exactly what reviewers need, an impartial mind...

Good thinking. Teamspeak and Ventrillo servers are generally better options (good quality voice systems for low cost). Skype does tend to have reliance issues, especially when calling long distance (unless you have a paid account, but that can cost a bit).

I wouldn't mind doing some reviews, but may be a bit busy sometimes with coursework and the like.

Ok, 1:30AM here. Time to get some shut-eye.

If we keep thinking up ideas and keep our minds on a roll, we may be able to keep on going till we get more news on the DLC.

Anyways, night all. Have a good one.

Quick post before I crash.
No idea where yet. Feel free to use my website though. Can access it through my profile on BSN, however creating an account requires me to accept the application (security reasons...damn bots...).

What we do know is that they've recalled every writer of ME back to work on this project along with most, if not all of the voice actors.

We also know that they're not releasing any other content in these intervening months, months that ME3 is, for all intents and purposes collecting dust on shelves when it should have been impressing new shareholders with numbers on how many people were playing it (logged in of course)

We also know that at this point Bioware is definitely poised to loose money on this, and more importantly we know that THEY know it. ME3 was supposed to be a cash cow they could milk for at least a year. It stands now to be one of, if not the biggest failure of an AAA game in the last decade (if not ever)

So No, we don't know what they're releasing. Which is good from a certain point of view, it leaves Bioware's writers alot of open room to manuever and possibly alter their plans on not changing/altering the ending a TEAM of writers looking at this are probably shaking their heads and looking at their boss like they're crazy telling them "You want me to FIX this???"

But, given all the stuff that we do know expectations are relatively high for this DLC (and lets face it, they can't make it any worse)

<snip>

Oh, God. Please don't say that.

We thought after DA II they could not posibbly repeat the mistake of rushing things. Guess what?

Never underestimate the ability of the current BW/EA to shoot their hunting buddy in the face with a shotgun.

First of all Coffee is rich on vitamin A-Z.
2nd: This is not about me

And getting stuff done without a constrant stream of coffee in your body is actually pretty hard.

Wow, it's amazing how clueless this guy is. And he calls himself an "analyst" lol.
It's not hard to figure out who doesn't have a clue about what's going on with the ME3 ending. Just look for anyone thinking the expanded cut dlc contains "new choices," and then ignore everything they say because they clearly don't even understand that expanding on poo does not equal new non-poo.

http://www.forbes.co...ending-whiners/

It's clear he's not very good at his job. He brings up Max Payne and Alan Wake, and says that games like those could be hurt by this. for starters, I don't remember Max Payne giving us the opton to bring together rival gangs to overthrough a drug cartel. I can't quite recall if Alan Wake had us recruiting teammates to help him find his wife, or making a choice on who becomes the new sheriff.

Those games are nowhere near ME series. Did he research anything before he spoke? Bioware was always about us making as many choices as possible, and then have the ending affected by those choices.

Max Payne and Alan Wake are linear interactive stories. Their developers don't need to worry about how our choices affect the ending because we had no choices to make. On the other hand, ME was all about how you made choices to get the job done and bring people together to fight the reapers, and then they decided that none of it mattered for the end, and gave us cookie cutter cutscenes.

And then he has the nerve to call us whiny and entitled? I hope videogame analyst isn't his full time job, because he is awful at it. I'm sure he's never actually played any of the games he's talking about.
