I guess one of the problems with that would be that they would never be the same as the Geth. The Geth and EDI developed in the way they did because of their experiences and for the Geth, only Legion's sacrifice gave them all that bit of Reaper code to give them intelligence.

Ok back from work. Yes had to work on a Bank Holiday Monday =(. Thought I'd at least try a 2nd playthrough last nite but got to Mars and then thought about the ending and couldn't go any further.

Not actually a huge fan of Chuck Norris, I think he's pretty dreadful lol, but it's cool he is in it.

Not so fussed about Chuck Norris but the fact that he's in it just  makes it cooler. I want to see more from Jet Li though. It looks like Arnie has a bigger role too.

Disclaimer: I in no way, shape, form or fashion believe anything the starchild says.  

That said.  To become sentient Legion (or Geth VI if you didn't have Legion for whatever reason) had to upload the Reaper code to the entire Geth Consensus.  EDI was enhanced using Reaper tech and code, as well as Eva's body having been filled with Reaper tech.  So... if you follow logic (which yes I know the entire last 20 minutes of ME 3 defies logic) when the pulse that went out destroyed all Reaper tech, then that would take down the Geth and EDI, and if you were to recreate the Geth and EDI they would not be the same, even if you could acheive sentience with both.  Then you would be starting that circular logic issue with the Reapers all over again.. /sigh just trying to find sense in the ending(s) gives me a headache.

I find the movie invalid, with chuck norris in the movie, there can be no storyline, Chuck is like starchild, he does everything for you. Edit: Exept Chuck Norris is cool.

The Geth use reaper code. Code isn't tangible. So it isn't tech per say. Hardware is.

EDI's cyberwarfe suite originally based its attack protocols on reaper tech. But as you find in ME2. her personality was the same even before the shackles were removed which disconnected her for reaper algorithms. before ME3 she also states that she has evolved inw ays that no computer could picture. Meaning she might have started with reaper tech but she is completely different now. And based on different structures. Also because alot of her programs helping self awareness are spread around the suite. We all started in Africa in you follow back our genes. That doesn't mean I am African. We've evolved for a long time. EDI just did it in a short while.

All in all, the ending I thought was of course destroying synthetics.

A- "you are partly synthetic"... yeah what about the quarians. They use extensive cybernetics to interact with their suits.
B- What about Kasumi, she has cybernetics, you think their agility comes from gymnastics? that woman had stuff added.
C- The star child lied to you, or contradicted himself most of the time. So there is no reason to believe most of what he sayd is even logical.

So, for those of you who are having the facecode import issue (like me), it looks like the new patch didn't fix that at all.. *facepalm* It just removed the error people were getting when importing, but the face still doesn't import properly.
