Do you think that's what Bruce Willis needs help with??? That being the case maybe we need to take the Expendables and mix in some Avengers action to kick him back to dark space!

sounds good to me

Just because it has my favorite line from Robert Downey Jr in it -

*grins* I told ya star child is lieing ;)  and this is actually really good to add in for indoctrinate theory ;)

That's hope. But I wonder why we don't see EDI coming out of the Normandy too.

Yes she has reaper code. But space magic lazors can inspect code ?

This laser's nickname is Norton Antivirus or what ?

Ah but people with high enough EMS have seen EDI come out of the ship on Destroy - BW have confirmed its not a bug....so....

As I've said - Star child is lieing piece of ;)

Uh how high and EMS?  I went into my last playthrough with just over 7K EMS (Yes EMS NOT Assets) and didn't get EDI coming out of the Normandy with the Destroy ending.

Something just got me then. While I was thinking about the way the destroy option would work, I began to wonder HOW it would destroy all synthetics. Then something got me, is there actually anything stopping the non-hostile synthetic allies (eg. the geth, EDI, etc.) from being remade? I mean, the Quarians (if they didn't blow them up, and vice-versa) realised that the geth were actually nice people and were helping them to survive on their planet and rebuild. Surely they would try to re-create them, and this time (should they not have any knowledge of their previous lives) do things right? Same with EDI, I can't see Joker letting up on her death easy, and what with Liara, one of the most influential people in the galaxy, I'm sure that someone would come along and try to rebuild her.

Mind you, all that is blown out the water if we are to assume things, because then we have to assume that virtually all sentient life is dead and those who aren't will be shortly due to lack of supply chains, and so on so forth...

And if Synthethesis turns everyone into a half-organic half-synthetic cyborg, what's to stop these cyborgs from remaking their own synthetics to serve them.

Don't think about it too much, because Bioware never thought about it in the first place.

That's my point, the supposed "solutions" do not even remotely solve anything. Whichever ending you pick, all you do is temporarily stop synthetics existing. Nothing is preventing anyone from making more, and sentient life is always going to try to be lazy, so more synthetics will come.

So, not only are the Reapers adding to the problem, but the alternative does just as bad a job as they do at preventing synthetic-organic war.

Well its a test to see if removing starchild would work. The ending would still be broken but it's not that obvious. So they're estimating how much work they have to put into the next months.

I know that's your point. I'm just saying Bioware never realized that when writing the ending.

Ugh. For real? You're saying it still doesn't detect the imported face properly?

I guess it's a good thing I was never planning on starting the story mode again either way, lol.

Heh, what work? Basically, they "fixed" the issue by removing the error you got when importing and haven't actually changed anything.

...If this is any sign as to what we can expect with the extended cut.. *sigh*

Nope. Doesn't work. At all.

I can provide visual proof, if you give me a minute.

This is just too ridiculous, honestly..

EDIT: The patch for the PC is out, and Origin downloaded it. It's out tomorrow for consoles.  Not that it fixed anything.

Wait, this changes everything.

I think I might see what Bioware's up to. Provided that Jess is being truthful and not going all Aes Sedai on us (anyone guess the reference without searching it?).

Storywise, perhaps the catalyst is deliberately misguiding us and lying about what will happen to test our resolve. When you put someone under pressure, a true result comes out. Obviously, starchild hasn't solved the problem in the endless cycle of generations that have come, and his solutions are plainly not going to fix the synthetic war issue. Perhaps it's because the Catalyst doesn't actually know how the f**k to stop the war from ever happening, and as such, he needs third-person inspiration on what must be done, but then decieves Shepard to make him do what he thinks is right, not just blatantly jump for a single option (which would likely be destroy in most of our cases)...

...Or I could be wrong, and Bioware weren't thinking about that when they were writing it, and are just going to do something stupid... again.
