Offtopic maybe, but this just got in my mind.. Has it been said how the consort Sha'ira has been doing in me3, during the game or if she died from the citadel reaper attack? Or is that just another plothole? I remember her giving me goosebumps the first time i played me1

you know, i honestly remember hearing nothing about her in ME3, heard about Shiala though, i didn't hear anything about Gianna Parasini either come to think of it

In ME2 there was that bit on the Galactic News about her leaving the Citadel but didn't you also get a message from her saying how she was glad she hadn't been wrong with her gift of words? But in ME3, no.

I hope to god... dream even That Mass Effect is the same as Halo.

That somewhere nobody told us, that after a decade Microsoft Studios actually gets the rights back to Bioware.

I guarantee a HUGE load of workers from bioware would jump ship.

PLEASE BIOWARE, SELL MASS EFFECT you dont know crap anymore.

See, this sums up why I probably won't be coming on here anymore. You can say what you want about BioWare and, let's be honest, there's a lot of valid points, but some people just take it too far.

You may like it, you may not, but I believe that the majority of people here come from a place of love for BioWare. Mass Effect 3 was a fantastic game, the ending wasn't. They got the ending wrong, so they should sell the franchise? That's just ridiculous, as illogical as Starbrat. This movement was created by people who respect and love BioWare and want them to give them the endings that the fans deserve. This movement isn't about constantly berating BioWare, making cheap shots and crying about it.

your are correct about the ME2 message
From: Consort Sha'ira

"Commander--

I thought that my gift of words had been incorrect -- an embarassing
notion -- but my contacts tell me you yet survive. I am pleased to hear
that your journey continues, though I sense that you head toward an even
deeper darkness. When you fought Saren, only your resolve was tested,
but now I fear you cannot rely only on your own strength. Take whatever
steps you must to ensure that those battling at your side will fight
with clear minds and glad hearts.

Be well,"

I'll explain. Some people, like me, dont smile and nod when they get cheated, promised stuff that aint delivered, get ignored while being a paying customers, mocked and treated like children. I used to love BW for their work. But after that total sc*ew up my faith in them is non-existant. The movement might have been created out of love but it grew so big because of people enraged and depressed, NOT loving ones.

I disagree. The ending is due mainly to Casey Hudson's raging ego. And you could see it was raging in every appearance he made. The merchandising, the stupid iPad crap, shooting copies of the game INTO SPACE....

And remember, the ending only received input from Hudson and the lead writer. Who was a different guy from the original lead writer, who wanted to base the conflict of the game around Dark Energy and the Mass Effect. Imagine that, the plot of the game revolving around what the games are named for. This game would've been a great topper had the game been called "Star Child 3" or "Space Magic 3".

I have trouble believing that anyone, even Casey Hudson, could have thought that this game had "sixteen endings". That this ending satisfied all the promises that were made beforehand.

The rest of the game, which had a quality peer group for reviews, is truly great. If they'd come up with a better way to resolve it all, this could have been my favorite game of all time. Though some of the true impact is lost if you didn't bring over the perfect save from ME2... it's like it should've just been a long expansion pack.

The boards errupted over the billboard thing.. it's seems they gave up on it in the end because people (retakers, that is) were being labeled (again) as insane over it, and the group almost (did or didn't?) split in half over a difference
of opinion on how to proceed.. I least, that's the gist of it, I think.

Let's get a little bit of perspective please. The three Mass Effect games have been fantastic overall, it is the ending of ME3 that has gotten everyone upset. Bioware have created an immersive universe that made us all care about the characters and the outcome. We want them to effect changes and that won't happen if it descends into Bioware bashing for the sake of it.

Secondly, as nice as it might be to lay the blame on Casey Hudson we have no proof that this is what happened. We have a post that may or may not have been from Patrick Weekes but we have absolutely no concrete evidence that this was down to Casey Hudson or Mac Walters acting on their own. Assuming things is one thing but the moderators are not going to tolerate the bashing of Bioware employees, especially when we have no hard facts to back up the accusations.

Ok... Now I have to ask what the billboard thing was all about. What were they planning to do?

wait what billboard? can I get a link. I dont find anything on it.

I wouldn't even bother if I were you. It was put forward by a member of the community who assumed everyone else would think it was a great idea. Unfortunately most people didn't. It's been shelved now as the general consensus was not to do it.

Unfortunately now the trolls are out and trying to use it to split the community up, saying that certain parts of it aren't really part of Retake and other nonsense. It's going to kill Retake.

I think the best thing to do right now is put forward to BW what we want to see in the DLC. Hopefully the trolls won't break up the community before that happens :(

The billboard thing: http://social.biowar.../index/11227924

Note: OP changed his post, after all the insanity heh that insued.

I suppose they were going to rent a billboard accross the street from Bioware and pay for its contents (the original idea was for it to be a picture of Marauder Shields, which would've been awesome, imo, but this changed.. and then the crazyness and the overreacting started).

EDIT: also - what Syrin said above, pretty much.

Hear, hear. Not only do I agree with this post, but I also agree that the moderators SHOULD clamp down on people bashing members of the BioWare team without concrete proof. It's just not on. This is about us showing them we are upset with the endings and we would like them changed. We have done that. If you want to go for conspiracy theories because that's more exciting then go for it, but this isn't what this movement, nor this thread is about.

that whole alleged posting by Weekes (which Chris and Weekes have said is a fake and i believe them) has become quite the conspiracy like theory lol Weekes seems like a pretty cool guy and i doubt he would say things such as that  after reading some of his tweets
edit: also what fade2black2610 said above this lol

If it was nothing inflammatory they were putting up there, I don't see what the problem is. But since this seems to be a touchy subject, I think it's best we leave it at that.

Just thought about this but I have a questions.

1. Remember the DLC where we had to decided to save the colony or the industrial complex in me 2? Did that ever come back up as a war asset?
