wait what billboard? can I get a link. I dont find anything on it.

I wouldn't even bother if I were you. It was put forward by a member of the community who assumed everyone else would think it was a great idea. Unfortunately most people didn't. It's been shelved now as the general consensus was not to do it.

Unfortunately now the trolls are out and trying to use it to split the community up, saying that certain parts of it aren't really part of Retake and other nonsense. It's going to kill Retake.

I think the best thing to do right now is put forward to BW what we want to see in the DLC. Hopefully the trolls won't break up the community before that happens :(

Wait wait. I wouldn't go as far as a billboard. but what is wrong with whoever has the money to do it?

Marketing against ME3. Digs into their pockets. No better way to get underneath their skin that ...well that.

I wouldn't put my money towards it. But why do you assume it would break the retake movement.

There are always many splinter groups that help and harm a cause. I dont see why this one would be part of the latter.

Just thought about this but I have a questions.

1. Remember the DLC where we had to decided to save the colony or the industrial complex in me 2? Did that ever come back up as a war asset?

The one that had a buggy entry at the end quest scene? no. Not that I know of. You can travel to it. Nothing special is written so do not know.

probably not.

You mean Zaeed's Loyalty mission? or the one with the Javelin Rockets? No to Zaeed's, yes(kinda) to the Javelin's...

watch this full screen, the relay does explode as you parts of it flying outwards after it shoots the pulse, and as it spins faster you can see parts of the structure exploding before the pulse goes off and when it does shoot the pulse you see the long end break apart and the main relay section explodes.

no matter the ending the relays are destroyed and they do all explode, the one you showed had a lot of blank spots for the control section either for timing or just bad editing.

but the fact stays that when a mass relay explodes it does wipe out entire solar systems killing everything in that solar system and to say "there just damaged" is wrong if they were damaged then they wouldent explode like they do.

BUT if bioware says the control damages the relays then they are REMOVING more of our choices BUT then again it also reinforces the indoc theory

No no no, it doesn't have that one little scene showing the explosion from the mass relay coming to you (it goes from shooting to affecting other relays) and the crucible itself does not fire a beam. Those are the differences.

Btw, does anyone else notice little catalyst's happy face(or what you can assume is his face) when she chooses anything but destroy? He looks...pleased.

Disturbing isnt it? Also the destroy option is the only one where he immediately disappears.

Speculation! Oh I hate this word so much!!!

So Reapers are technically much much more advanced than other races right? Right.
So Reapers could mess with shepherd head, the Ghost child could be most advanced "holoprojection" or Master Speculator Entity. It does not matter… I as player need to make decision based on this… Speculation…
When I was about to make that decision I didn't know what to do… It was like:

It doesn't make any sense… I have not enough information to make the decision

But a "fragile" pattern emerges from BSN, Twitterverse etc… BW really planned an "ending DLC"… They just underestimated fans uproar… and fans access to media tools. So the plan completely failed but they went along this plan anyway… PR statements… but again instead of calming down they got opposite. I think now, they trying to improvise but again it doesn't work. And Summer is well light years away….

The only other alternative is… The Ending is really that bad or was rushed… No matter what we are in lost/lost situation.

I've got to agree it's their money let them spend it how they want atleast they are being constructive ofcourse I would have rather seen a blimp with Marauder shields on the side of it.

Good morning/afternoon... well it was morning when I started trying to catch up. OK So a Billboard... eh it's a meh idea in my personal opinion at best. I think we've been doing a great job with keeping the fact that we are here on top of everything else, added with the letter campaigns which we have done and could do again. As others have said right now we are really in a holding pattern to see what Bioware comes up with for the EC DLC. At least I know I am.

OK Kyria is back Holding the Line and still Holding the Wallet!

I think it started when the guy of the Retake FB page declared HTL a fringe group.

I mean "wat ?!". I wasn't aware that Retakers weren't united. That there was "Retakers" and "Hold The Liners".

That's ridiculous. A shame, really. And now this s**t storm happens. :crying:

Well if they didn't have an "ending dlc" planned I would like to hear from Mike Gamble once the extended cut etc has been released what on earth he meant by his tweet saying if only we knew what they were planning we'd keep our ME3 saves forever!

I don't think the billboard would break the movement; I think what will break the movement isthe trolls who try to use every thread that has disagreements as an excuse to say "oh look at the divide, they can't agree on anything" and try to point out that we're being juvenile or aggressive.

I think that calling parts a splinter group doesn't work either, it's a grassroots community where to be part of it, you just have to say you are part of it.

You pick up the Javelin rockets as war assests, adding 50 to your total... So yeah it does kinda play into the whole thing, but not in the way you're asking...

Then answer accordingly to anyone who calls us juvenile.

Simply ask them.

Do you watch American Idol? ... exactly, dont be calling me juvenile.

Do you watch Wrestling/football exactly... dont be calling me agressive.

If your product was faulty due to false advertisement, do you shut up and take it, or you go **** at the counter for a refudn or an exchange... exactly.

Yeah, it really is ridiculous. The facebook group said they had a list of reasons why HTL shouldn't be associated with Retake and said they'd be made public... they've yet to manifest.

I just don't understand why. I've really enjoyed chatting with most of the people I've met in this community, and I think we've really had an impact. I don't understand the reasoning behind doing this kind of thing now. :(

That makes me feel better than the possibility of them having planned it all along, lol. I'm still questioning what the hell it was that made them think it was ok to go with this ending either way, but the idea of them coming up with this ending after months or years of thinking it through is so much worse.

I guess the question is are we all working towards the same thing. As far as I'm aware the answer is yes so I don't understand what was going on between Retake and HTL, a bit like cutting off your nose to spite your face. This is not the kind of thing you decide to get precious about. People are expressing their dissatisfaction in different ways so trying to ostracize one group from another is silly.
