I'd be surprised if that was true. The whole "geth consensus" sequence was steeped in the representative messages that seems to be BioWare's stock in trade. Legion himself states that the virtual reality environment is using Shepard's own perceptions and memories to form the world itself.

@g_bassi13 i also agree with your shepard having to die part, i think thats ridiculous, the option should be there like you said was in DA:O, i should be able to live if i choose die if i want to, there is no honor in being forced into suicide/sacrifice, the choice to do so for the greater good is what brings honor
No honour in any of these sacrifices. When I watched Shepard blow herself up (with destruction, the only one time I've played the ending), there was no sense of accomplishment at all. I'd like the option of a sacrificial death, but not as presented in the game. It's lose/lose for everyone and everything as is.
Also, I'm sorry but I haven't read through your post yet. It's 3:30 in the morning now, and I don't have the energy to tackle it right now. Will read it in the morning.
