Anyway guys, i doubt here is the best place to dump all your personnal life  It's great to have some community team building (better than that one seminar we were forced to go) but not TOO much, for fear of staff reprisal on the whole thread

Do nothing you are ashamed of and you have nothing to fear.
Nobody can take away my self-respect, job, relationships, education, money or anything else based off of anything I have ever said here...and I would like to see them try.

They wont take anything from YOU. They'll lock  the thread down for being off topic :police:

Anyways i'll stop talking about THAT, or it's just gonna bring bad luck :?

Edit: Nobody could guess the meaning of MY name ! Haha, im just sooo clever...

Meaning behind names?
Combat flight sim + Sky + Fire = Skyre.
Yes, I was rather nasty in that game. I liked to keep shooting the other players planes so they would either explode or catch fire as they went down.

Kinda stuck after that. Other version was "Skyreth" which I used after someone stole my name on another game.

Also, yes, I am a guy. So no need to get confused and think I'm a woman...no idea how you could think that though.

I always liked the IL-2 Sturmovik series myself. IL-2: Cliffs of Dover is a fantastic graphical treat, provided you've got a fast computer.

So we're all talking about the meanings behind handle names now? OK.

I normally choose names from Greek, Norse, and Roman mythology since I just love those stories. My gamertag was originally Themis (Titan of Divine Justice) but I changed it once I learned Themis was a chick. It's IR3UL (angel of fear in Christian angelology) now. My friends have shortened it to "eerie" though, which is apt since I'm the crazy, creepy one of the group. LethesDeep has no real meaning beyond it being symbolic. Lethe was the river in the underworld heroes drank from to forget their lives as a way of preparing for being reborn (Greek/Roman mythology). Before ME3 I just used this profile to register my games and download DLC (prepping for a new life) before playing a new game (new life).

Wow... I'm liking your name even more now~!

OK ... I really gotta stop reading this thread and bugger off to real life stuffs. Need to buy some severely overpriced Poptarts for a present. At least these Poptarts will have a happy end..

Usernames huh...

Kyria Nyriese was my very first character name in my very first MMO (SWG). I have used that name or some variation of it in every game and on everything I do online since then.

*Fades in*

My screen name is either;

A result of trying to use 'Mortis' on an old BBC website, finding it was taken and the site offering 'Cybermortis' as an alternative. I liked the alternative name I decided to stick with it.

A nod towards my habit of destroying electronic equipment by...using it. Calling myself 'Computer/internet death' seem fitting....

Take your pick.

*Fades back out*

Been playing Wings of Prey lately. Good game. However most of the WWII fighter sims are dead or dieing. Not many are made any more =(
But yeah, the IL-2 series is by far the best. They have the most detailed and comprehensive setup in terms of realism.

I get the PG rating remark a lot. It was originally a clan tag, for the Praetorian Guard on Star Wars Galaxies. Kind of a joke tag, because we were anything but PG rated.

As for the Skype one...don't get that one often, but I know a lot of people think it...hells, even I do sometimes

Actually, I brought the subject. But it was about another article. A critic about BW and EA, and how the Retake movement and all took it and the reaction about it.

This one I haven't seen before.

I love how I know the meaning behind everyone's names now. Makes more sense to read them (before they were just...names. Letters put together with no meaning).
