Who doesn't name charachters after themselves. I have a Dylan shep. After you finish your personal one you get creative. In my case Samuel L. Shep and Bruce Lee Shep.TamiBx wrote...
Hey, I named my Shepard after myself too!xHezz90 wrote...
Yes I wish this for my Shepard also whom I sadly (aka pathetically) named after myself. She also romanced Kaidan and the ending went against everything she ever done in the previous game (PS3 owner).LadyMarisa wrote...
Marisa Shepard was my first ME character and she romanced Kaidean. I miss her journey and wish the final moments had been worthy of her.
Did I mention the part where I name every character that requires to be named "Tami"? (it is so pathetic)
Oh wait. Except my Pokemon games. I use my Japanese nickname for that.
As always, in journalism, they need to find a scapegoat to have hitting, action packed articles... Unbiased journalism, who would want that?!Computim wrote...

So yes, to put this (slightly) back on topic:
Does anyone else think or hope that this whole ballyhoo will help to influence journalistic practices? I for one do not like the fact that most news these days is "handled" by vested interests intent on controlling the message. And that includes the video games industry.
I think they'll be a lot more careful which side they pick in the future... probably leading them to pick no side... unbiased journalism.. what a novel concept :innocent:

Well, it needs to go that way. I no longer trust most mainstream media - always an agenda. Even if its just to distract. I listen to NPR or go on the internet and research a subject if I want to get the real story. In fifty years this is what "news" will be - as well as reviews and such.

There will always be demagogues, but with the rise of the internet culture and readily-available access to social tools, there'll always be a "second opinion" available. Unless, of course, the corps get their way and lock down the internet so that we either see only what they want us to see or start an underground subculture.

As an author, I never name characters after myself. Most prominant characters in any story I write also won't be named after myself or anyone I know in real life unless a certain name just "fits" either because of influence or some other reason.

News reporting has not changed in hundreds of years.Thomas Jefferson said (paraphrased as quote in other room)that the only honest things in a newspaper were the ads.

Yes, "glorious" ME3 has dismissed that claim!
Is that a reference to Milo and Otis? Love them!

Wow, 700 pages and 11,000 votes on the poll. I don't see why Bioware wouldn't fix the endings now.

No that ads nowadaysBut they're still more truthfull than the articles and columns themselves!
Like back in Jefferson's days, they sold cocaine and opium as family friendly cure-it-all remedes...

Has anyone found out that even if the game will let you play a problem more than one way you always pick the same way?Like I'll always save the Krogan cause I like Wrex, and my Shepards is loyal to their friends. Also Ash has never killed Wrex in 2.I find I'm strange like that.More choices!Yes!But end up playing the same way.And with the lack of exploration ME3 really has no replay past a certian point.
