I have to admit: I've stopped looking at the Twitter posts for two reasons. One, the majority of people write so horribly that it pains my retinas to parse through their horrible approximation of any sort of human language. Two, and perhaps more importantly, the vague, noncommittal doublespeak can be rather tiresome.
I'm aware of the PR and the driving forces behind ensuring that the company's image and product are protected. But that doesn't change how painful the bologna can be when squeezed out through two lines of what barely passes as an answer.
I also don't follow how the company allows certain individuals to make comments that could be considered inflammatory (see Priestly's religious joke). I didn't care about the content, but as the company is under an incredible amount of scrutiny from both the private and public sectors, allowing very well-known representatives to speak in an off-the-cuff manner seems, well, less than prudent.
