Good morning everyone.

Reporting to duty after a horrid night of nuclear apocalypse trying to scrounge some food and other supplies and to find a safe enough place to try to survive until radiation does me in.

On the other hand, that was one of my more cinematic nightmares, maybe I should try to work it into a story or movie or something.

Ever played S.T.A.L.K.E.R. ? :P

Anyways, good morning to you, and good night to everyone!  I'll see you guys another day.

Good morning! Sounds like you dreamt in the wrong universe -- Fallout instead of ME3. Except, you know, ME3 will probably go the way of Fallout. Radioactive rubble for everyone!

I dreamt about Jedis in underwear last night thanks to your pants discussion. :P

EDIT> Good night Captn! =]

No, but might try it (or them isn't it) and Metro 2033 at this rate. Can't be scarier than what I see during nights anyhow <_<

Guys! Look how far this has come!
You are actually lending your hopes on...EA!! Is the situation that bad already, or did their indoctrination succeed!?

I really dont think EA will become our "cavalry". Not even for profit. There is a clear message for us customers to be delivered. It says that we dont have influence on their products. That they wont bow to customers wishes. For that we are too weak, because most of us will buy the enxt EA/Bioware product anyway, no matter how many have sworn off them here in the last month.

Only Bioware themselves can make a step towards us. And they still dont know for sure that we, who hated the endings, really are the majority. Look at their twitter site. The endings do get more praises for some time now...

First off I have NEVER once stated that I hate EA, which FYI I actually don't I have no problem with them.

Secondly, we were talking about EA as they are, a buisness. They would hardly be still going if they weren't somewhat good at it. But you pretty much just made the point we were talking about, that we could influence them but like I already said people here have no will power at all.

I honestly don't believe we are the vocal "minority" that we are being made out to be but I could be wrong....not sure a Minority would have gotten all those articles written about them.

As for buying future BioWare products I personally won't buy any unless this is all resolved properly, though I may be only one person I don't mind. I on principle and out of sheer disgust won't stomach buying BW again.

Thank spirits krogans are on Earth then :P
Since they have experience how to live on a planet which is pretty much nothing but radioactive rubble.

...how come Shep and crewmates don't suffer from the radiation during ME2 and ME3...

I've played both Stalker games, the first was good, I found the second to be too empty, Metro 2033 was okay I guess, just way too linear for my taste.

I'm assuming it's their armor, can't remember though did Shep take his/her helmet off during Tuchanka? *tries to remember*

Morning! So you were dreaming of the day when Internetious Trollious takes over the world huh? It is a pretty bleak picture....

Mine did. I headbutted a krogan without any helmet on  Ok, Garrus gets a free pass on this one, because of the plates and all. But rest of them don't!

Linearity doesn't bother me if it's the game's MO. Like with that other survival horror.... can't remember its' name, but you play a character who ends up inside a Russian/Soviet nuclearship, and of course the crew has tarnsformed into symbolic mutant/silent-hill-y creatures. There's a parallel story of some old tribe and their exodus, told by an old woman whenever you stumble across postcards etc.

And yes, I do realise I could've googled the name of the game :innocent:

Believe me, if we push hard enough both on EA, Bioware and media, we will be successful. Paid trolls who are praising the ending won't change the situation. If EA will realise that they will lose more than they will get from not changing the ending, we will win. If Bioware will realise that their artistic vision is flawed, we will win. If media will realise that we are not minority saddened by unhappy ending, but majority which is claiming for new quality ending, we will win, Strike 3 fronts at the same time and ending will be changed.

I do have my problems with them, but that is a complete different topic.

What i wanted to state here was that EA never will help us out  of their generosity. Not just for a little more profit too. Even not to strenghten the bond to their customers.  It is very important for them that we, the customers, dont get too powerfull over their products. The only chance i see is by "holding the wallet".
But you and me already agreed on how small the chance that this happens seems atm. The multiplayer seems to be a great success.

If only the "silent minority" would speak somehow. I so desperatly want to know if we really are a "vocal minority", or not. Nothing can be proven unless more people speak their minds or hold their wallets. But i fear most of them might be not content with the ending and still buy the next DLCs/ME4 or anything. And BW/EA will take this as a proof they were right. They already do it with their MP- stats ("How could they play so much when they hate the ending like this?")

Your resolve in dealing with the huge let down and the way we are being treated (unless there is something big coming) honors you.

YES. Thank you. Good game, I love the way they use coldness in it.

As i said, i dont think it is just about the money they can make. In my eyes it seems the most important thing to both BW and EA is to keep the absolute power over their products. They fear times  in which the customers might sort of "dictate" what the games should be like...

To say it in othetr words: This "fight" is bigger this time...

Thats why i think many, many more must hold their wallets than i think actually are doing right now....

EDIT again: I can say of myself that i dont want to dictate them their games. I jsut want an ending that makes sense :(

No problem. You didn't have any issues running it? Because when I enabled PhysX my PC acted like it wanted to blow up.

Haha Facebook page asked this:

"Kaidan Alenko Appreciation Society
What to get for the Commander that has everything?.......... What would Kaidan give your Shepard for their birthday?"

I replied with: A better ending to ME3

Nope, no problems at all that I can remember. Friend of mine did though, to the point of the game becoming unplayable for her, since instead of getting killed by actual monsters and dangerously low temperature, she was killed more often by dangerously low framerate <_<

We attempt to avoid these kind of phrases, they have a nasty habit of turning into flame wars which lead to threads getting closed.

It's never an easy thing to get an artist to accept their vision is flawed because it IS their vision, when person/s come up with an idea they feel is good ego will take over when they are confronted with the idea being possibly bad, the important thing is how to confront them, you never directly tell your misses her arse looks fat in that dress(well some people might as evidenced on these boards), "Did you enjoy the meal I lovingly prepared for you?, no it was sh*t!", the examples I've cited are approaches not to take unless people like being jerks.

Damage to a brand is always more costly than immediate loss of sales. If customers lose their faith in a brand it's very difficult to effectively restore it. Doesn't matter how fantastic your products are afterwards, if the brand is damaged you have a problem.

True, but a better ending for ME3 would be good (one that includes Kaidan being there with Shep instead of running away to the land of OZ)
