Hahaha true, I just don't see the point in having to talk with people....it's kind of unnecessary.
Oh well I don't play any MP anyways :D

Not sure about consoles, but for PC multiplayer it's a bit weird to not have text chat. I'd avoid voice chat like the plague in all other circumstances. And I'm not that wild about the multiplayer either -- would be nice but right now it's more of an occasional distraction, Mass Effect without having to think about the story and the brain-smoosher at the end of it.

the best about voice chat is even if you use it moste players don't listen to it. So we alwasy need like 30 min. Normaly we (my friends ne me) need around 22 min -.-

Not sure if you get text chat on consoles *looks around for someone to confirm or deny this for me*
I'm play Heavy Rain - where every choice impacts the story in some way :P (and the endings are all vastly different)

Morning, folks! Anything new?

So, a few days ago (or a week ago, who knows anymore, time flies here ;)) I was joking around with the idea that Bioware should take it a step further with the art excuse and stop making patches for bugs in their games, because, it's art, after all.

And now with the face import patch still not working properly for most people, and a lot of other people writing things like this in threads related to the patch: "I'm actually glad that this company still gives us a ***t after we already purchased the game and they already got our money. "

.. and saying things like we should be grateful that Bioware even makes a patch for a game once it's finished and sold (clearly missing the point that in fact it was an unfinished product they sold us, for the full price, of course, and that most games get bug patches after release).. I'm suddenly left wondering if I should've tempted the fates with that joke before..

I'm also left wondering who the hell are the people coming up with those kinds of excuses.. did they pay for this game out of their own pocket? It's a bunch of 12year olds, isn't it?

*revives thread*

It's lamer when you're playing multiplayer alone (the ultimate definition of Forever Alone!) with no-one to revive you when you die ... /random

Haha, when I gave MP a shot people were always kind enough to revive me. They probably don't realise I have everything on mute (their mics ect) because I can't stand listening to people ramble on lol.

Some players are good about reviving, some just ignore you. Especially Krogan... they just charge in and block your shots. >< Me, I tend to try and revive people, but unlike most, I refuse to jump into a killzone and get taken out before I can revive the person. I'd rather clear the area out first and if I don't make it in time, well... that's why people shouldn't charge into a giant pack of enemies and should stick with the group. :P

Anyway, I'm not posting much lately, but I'm still here holding the line and lurking around. The lack of news has really just gotten me to not care much anymore. :(

Good morning!, nothing new that I am aware of.

And I reckon you are probably correct, it's 12 year olds. Though I personally can never afford to buy games myself (luckily my parents are kind and buy them for me - at least till I find work) I'm still appalled by this attitude, but like you said it probably is people who don't even need to worry because it's not their money (where as my attitude is more who cares if it's not my money, we still deserve a better product)

*goes to sit in corner because my posts never make sense when I read them back to myself*

well i might have an a idea what bioware should do ( i came up this one while reading in this forum positive and negative comets, retake, hold the wallet movement, cupcake and others) to simply put make "OPTIONAL ENDINGS DLC" which will be made not by bioware writers (mostly) but by this community. lets say pick top five ideas make a poll which one wins that one will be made and it will be OPTIONAL. If gamer liked (for some unknown reason) current endings it will keep, if not will option to take endings made by fans. This will be win-win for both sides Bioware will keep their "Artistic integrity" (which is sold to EA in my personal opinion) and fans will have so desired ending

PS the chance that will happen as big as live in mars right now :crying:

PPS sorry for my english it is not my native language

Also, hope you are OK with the aftershocks going on ...

Haha, well a lot of people have complained that they get other players who are playing while random stuff is going in the background, kids crying and all that, so they just turn it off.

Nah you probably don't or the PC players would be doubly up in arms, but I meant that for consoles it's standard to not have text chat? whereas for PC multiplayer games that's the staple way of communicating, hence why ME3 MP is a little odd. And looked up Heavy Rain just now -- sounds like a mad story. There seem to be a lot of great PS3-only games out at the moment, or maybe that's always the case? *ignorant PC-only player*

It's hard to understand people here sometimes. Around the time of the North American release when people were learning about this bug the waves of ****ing that erupted were almost pure caustic. There's nothing wrong with being grateful for a patch, even if as you point out they are to be expected, although honestly with some of the things that were said I'm surprised they remembered how to be thankful.
(On reading that back, not sure what it had to do with your post, but anyway )

*falls over from quoting*

Ah I didn't think so lol.

Heavy Rain is a really awesome game, and actually tear jerking. It is a very good PS3 exclusive, as is Uncharted, and I have to admit that a lot of exclusive's to PS3 do tend to be really good....but I could be ignorant since I am mainly a PS3 gamer lol, there is some good xbox exclusive games too in all honesty...no idea about PC or WII or anything else though.

They're saying that the threat of a tsunami is subsiding, because of the kind of earthquake it was.

But any time my apartment begins to shake involuntarily, it does scare me.

What are you on about, that made perfect sense.. or maybe it's just me, ehm?

Well, it made sense to me, anyway.

Oh, I meant it must be spoiled brats who apparently ignore the fact that other people have to work for a living to buy stuff for them.  Apparently a lot of those can be found playing the multiplayer, even with the game being rated M.

Trust me, I remember what it was like to depend on my mom for games and concert tickets - never took it for granted. If this happened back then and I burned her money on ME3, heck, I believe I would've felt even worse.. :/  And I would've tried to return it and get her money back.. though she probably wouldn't let me.. :)

Well at least that's something.

I can imagine it would be scary, everytime I hear of earthquakes in Christchurch (New Zealand - South Island) I am thankful I live in Auckland where earthquakes haven't happened in years (well except for a tiny one nobody felt last year - I was happily in Scotland at the time hehe) but I would be terrified if I ever had to have my house shake around

*hugs* hope you get through it OK.

It could be small aftershocks after the bigger one from earlier?

Well as long as you understood it lol.

Yeah I have never been a spoiled brat, though people made jokes about it when I was younger because I'm an only child.
Ha! as if rating's matter :P they never pay attention to them, makes me wonder what the point of them is lol.

Yeah I don't take it for granted either and as soon as I get a job (stupid unemployment <_<) I will buy my dad games instead lol, and my mum can get books or dvds :D
I would have tried to return ME3 but we (meaning mum, dad and I) were all willing to see this Retake thing through....the thing that annoys me about it most is it was supposed to be my birthday present (granted a very early present) so now my parents feel bad about getting me something that made me depressed :?
