I'm sick of it all. :/
SpaceBrat has *no place* in Mass Effect. Period.
</very constructive post>
Totaly agree....
What would you think about spacebrat if it was revealed as a ruse of some sort? obviously whatever he is he is not a kid, its just the form he took for whatever reason, but would you put up with him if the nature of what he is was elaborated on?
Spacebrat himself was nothing more than a signpost. It snt his existance that ruined the game, but the events that were generated with him as the center. With the loss of selectable dialog choices, and the enforcement of watching a character we've spent up to six years cultivating abd working on, all of a sudden putting his tail between his legs and doing as he was told, there is a complete disconnect with the player.
In my personal opinion, the brat was completely unneccessary. Galactic armadfa attacks the reapers, Normandy slices Harbinger in half with those damned guns it has: the citadel blasts out a signal scambling all reaper tech throughout the galaxy ( except one who survives ): Shep wins, and everyone including the players go home happy. The Omega DLC wouldnt be effected because it happens Pre-Armada, the MP wouldnt be effected because its well MP ( no story to tell ).
The kid is completely extraneous, and perhaps the worst move i have ever seen since Paramount pulled the original Star Trek off the air, after only three seasons..
