I can't believe they haven't shut this thread down yet. Really people? Time to move on, Bioware is giving us the closure they feel we deserve and a free multiplayer dlc for repetance. They're not going to "redo" the ending, so, stop all the qqing.
The Free MP stuff may barely make up for the coolest character in the game being Day 1 DLC, it sure doesn't make up for an ending too. They don't have to do anything to please the gamers, same can be said of any Developer out there. Problem is, they WANT to make us happy because if they don't we won't buy their games anymore. Then there is no more Developer.
I do not think you understand how capitalism works

Some credit needs to be shown to Bioware in all this; they did hear us, they listened, and they're taking the cost-effective approach to making the player happy. And it's true that not all players, not even everyone in this thread, feels the entire present ending needs to be removed. Clarity could potentially work, explaining what happened to the relays. The Star Child? Complain as you want, but it's not its existence so much as what it SAYS that is infuriating. It's a form designed to fill a purpose, nothing more. The logic behind wiping out organics to prevent organics from being wiped out, somewhat worse. The ending cinematics being color-coded versions of a single cinematic is worse. Our choices having little or no visible impact on the ending, this is what is unforgivable.
No one ranting for a better ending wants Bioware to go away. We've loved the series, we love the brand despite recent stumbles. We WANT to love this game, and we love 99% of it. If we didn't, we'd have taken our full refunds and washed our hands of this mess.
