And as you say, at least we have each other to vent to in a similarly minded enviornment (mostly).
I know personally I'd have given up on Mass Effect all together otherwhiese by now.

and about the geth and EDI, he is lieing, they  won't die, EDI can get out of the Normandy in red sometimes and Bioware said its not a glitch, if she lives the geth sure as hell live never trust a glowing starchild that has no logic whatsoever lol

I agree here... Shep, the guy allways arguing, fighting and all.. doesn't oppose or even ask the child about the hooks of all choices.. he only stands there like and idiot.. answering totaly defeaten "Maybe.." .. "oh TMI was right..".. "Oh but will be destroyed.." totaly passive.. like he is defeatan anyway... totaly non-Shep like..

And btw.. in my opinion STar brat is a liar anyway... I think it only tells Shep nonsense to make him use the crucible.

I find this hilarious, BioWare saying that is pretty much them acknowlodging that the ending made no logical sense.

Hmmm...No, Shep might choose that one actually, I mean choices aren't meant to be easy after all and Shep is always there to make the hard ones.

I just hope they can survive (but that's meta-playing - Shep doesn't know what Bioware says over Twitter...).

But my Parangon Shep would choose nothing. And fire at StarBrat with a rocket lawnchair.

I mean, sure choices are hard. I love hard choices. But each of those choices violate Mass Effect's core themes.

It was always about free will. Not organics vs synthetics.

Not even a third way or a Paragon/Renegade interrupt ? This isn't Mass Effect. This is something else.

lol i personally haven't either with my 2 times through, my brother said she did though so im going by that and what i heard Bioware say about it somewhere, regardless IMO he is lieing because he doesn't want you to choose red and tries to make you falter with the geth/EDI etc dieing thing

I am really sceptical if BW will offer somthing satisfing in summer.. and I have made up my own ending  (headcanon ^^).. but if the DLC in summer will be fishy like the endings atm.. the ME franchise by BW will be dead for me and I will not spent any more money in ME Games.

*shivers* I wasn't defending the ending I was just saying that if Shepard has the choice of choosing Save the Galaxy but destroy the geth and EDI or destroy the galaxy and save the geth and EDI, well a Paragon would choose Saving the galaxy, but he/she would talk to the geth and EDI first.

Meh whatever way we spin it, the ending still sucks ass and only alternate endings will change that. Certainly not this stupid extended cut DLC.

I played through 3 times with red ending and never seen EDI get out, is it tied to EMS or something else?

In that case I can't help, as I play on Xbox. I would advise (if you haven't already and it's the same as on the Xbox) going into the extras on the main menu and then downloadable content. That is as much as I can advise.

Oh, I know it was labeled as a 4chan fake, but when you look at  recent tweets from Gamble, you just have to start wondering if perhaps there was some truth in .. ahem, "Truth". 

Although, all of you are right - that does not excuse them for making such an end that is completely disconnected from the rest of the series, even if they did have something planned before hand.

my thinking as well Mr. Bond, he just doesn't want you to choose the red option so he tries to make you falter with the whole "destroy all synthetics" part, nothing he says should be trusted
