Ok, i know im running a bit late on this but i finished the campaign a few times by now so i thought id give my opinion (for what is worth).
The game itself is amazing, has plenty of amazing and even heartbreaking moments on it, and the multiplayer is actually very enjoyable. My main (and probably only) beef with the game is the fact that we were told that every choice we made mattered in the game. Everything we went through from the first and second games, every decision we made, every choice we took, would have consequences by the end of the third game. That wasnt the case. Pretty much in the end you feel like everything you did was pretty much for nothing, its just tossed out of the airlock and ignored. Why bother uniting the geth and the quarians, the turians and the krogan, if in the end no matter how many armies you bring the result is always the same? Now im not saying that i wanted a happy ending (although i wouldnt mind finishing the game by laying at the beach sharing a couple of beers with Garrus), im just saying that i think we were entitled to a bit more variaty of choice, not just "blow the relays no matter what you did/choose/accomplished".
Plus, there are several plot holes that simply spoil the ending for most people.
Anyway, thats pretty much my two cents on the matter of the endings. Love the game, very disapointed with the ending.

Hmmm what classic war film music would be appropriate to play if it was basically confirmed that the DLC would address most of our concerns and change the endings to more positive outcomes
this song also has a hidden message from us to bioware
Thats it, I am leading a mission to infiltrate Biowares mountain fortress, the EAgles nest
pssst that link is for kellys heroes theme tune "burning Bridges"
I know, but it was originaly where eagles dare, its a bit mean to change the link before people can react lol, adding is ok

Even with the endings being 'extended' they're still going to be the same ****ty endings we have now but with more exposition.

I mean if Jessica is right then they're already starting the retcon as I'm pretty sure I remember star child specifically claiming that ALL synthetics would die. Nowhere did he seem to suggest it was reaper tech only. I think he specifically mentioned the Geth as being in that category.

Okay, your entire plan that you have been perpertrating for billions of years is now under threat along with yourself, don't know about you, but I'm going to lie if it means survival.Debi-Tage wrote...
What was the point of the ending if this was how it was going to be!? Why have the Starbrat even lie in the first place...or elude to the possibility of the geth and EDI and the relays being destroyed. Destroy DOES NOT mean disable...

...wait, so my Windows installation might lie to me after a billion years when I threaten to reformat it? ...I think that frightens me more than the CitadelKid

True but then why offer the destroy option at all. He should just be like "Pipes? What pipes? Oh those, they control the uh, AC up here. That's it. Pay them no mind. Now you can either synthesize or control!"

@Mr. Bond, i don't understand why a lot of people actually believe everything the starchild says is set in stone/he is truthful when he's anything but truthful, he's got his plan that you can possibly undo(destroying the reapers, his solution thats been around for a very long time) and now he's suddenly ready to say to hell with this? No, like someone said earlier he's like a salesman, starts with the worst and goes to what he wants you to do at the end, he's going to do everything he can to mislead you
@everyone else, be back in an hour or so, my curiosity has gotten the better of me....
