Ok, off-topic, but I'm at my wits end here.
I bought headset today, Roccat Kave 5.1 and can't seem to get the microphone working no matter what I do. Google isn't helping me, and yes, I'm positive all plugs are in their right places. Any advice?

Win7, and yes, I already booted. The audio controls seem to recognize the mic, but nothing is recorded. And for some reason win7 identifies the headset as high def audio device, instead of a headset.

Probably need to tweek your audio settings, if no one can come up with an answer for you soon, inbox me and I will try to figure it out with you when I wake up.
Not really "with it" at the moment, lol, so cant be of more help. Sorry

Will do if I can't figure something out. I think it might be that for some reason windows doesn't identify the headset properly, since it doesn't give me mic-settings at all with right-lower-corner audio settings, even though it claims to register the microphone via back port... Frustrating

I've been wrestling with whether to bother importing my Jacobmancing Shepards considering the JacobStereotypicalME3KissoffOfDoom. But I get so depressed thinking about how things are going to end anyway. Yeah, but you still get the awkward animations right? And the non-rendered Tali who wakes up in her full suit, also without ever showing her face.

SPECULATION MODE:
1 - So they did it on purpose.
2 - They thought people would be OK with the existing ending.
3 - They would release some DLCs (pre-ending)
4 - Then Booooooooom. The real "clarification" ending comes out... People were indoctrinated... nobody was expecting that

There is only one small problem. Outrage about existing ending...
What do we do? Improvise and let them speculate...

Speclators became speculatees ?!? Yes, I know nothig makes sense. That was the point

Honestly I don't see the harm in this. It's a free extra for those who want it.

Not like they released it when the game first came out and it stole time from more important things they could have been working on...oh wait, like ME3...

i said yesterday this was planned, they had planned an ending DLC but with all the chit storms over the current ending forced bioware to move there plans forward, the other DLC as i said was either canned or being reajusted to match the new dlc schedule.

BUT also take his comments with a dangerous amount of salt, also remember yesterday they had tweets about them "testing" the "brought forward" DLC  which means in a sense it was planned from the start.

so yeah biowares entry into capcom idea's has backfired in EVERY SINGLE WAY.

we got screwed over, time to push the line

*shrug* doesn't bother me one bit, I don't own a Kinect nor do I ever plan to.

It's a good option for those who want it. 

Like you said it's not like they done an ME3 and took resources away to do it, Skyrim has been out for months lol.

you know i'd actually pay for that after/if the endings are  fixed lol, except don't have it only fixing things, have it be like a LI centered DLC that has you doing some kind of mission/whatever with LI lol (my idea on tali btw was to add ME2 LI flashbacks instead of the auto default to Liara and have Tali's be her with no mask, even if for just that little scene)

Hahaha I loved that video since I first seen it tbh, but I don't think a Skyrim Dance would work well in reality

Well you should check out RvB then, it's pretty much old school PvP (messing around in frigs and cruisers) that makes me remember the good old days when bringing a dual rep Domi to the table meant you were the king of the hill before everybody and their dad started rocking up in caps. You're starting to get me nostalgic, thanks lol. I might give RvB a shot at some stage, but I'm more of a small gang pilot. Blobbing gets pointless...and I like to go against what everyone else is doing, which is getting the biggest fleets they can for everything.

My current "Main" is Skyreth. My 9th "Main"  I've made. I usually get em to the stage where most things are trained, then sell them for 20bil and make a new. Means I never have to pay for subscriptions lol.

Anyways, 2:30am here. Im off for the nig...erm...morning lol
