you know i'd actually pay for that after/if the endings are  fixed lol, except don't have it only fixing things, have it be like a LI centered DLC that has you doing some kind of mission/whatever with LI lol (my idea on tali btw was to add ME2 LI flashbacks instead of the auto default to Liara and have Tali's be her with no mask, even if for just that little scene)

I'd pay for it if they added a Femshep - Ashley thing. I have no idea why it's not already in the game. She's been annoying me non-stop since her cameo in ME2, but it annoys me more that it's not an option. Hell it was an option in ME1, before they removed it at the last second. I don't know why they couldn't bring it back. They brought back the Kaiden - Broshep thing... So why not this one?

Actually Femshep romances pale in comparison to Maleshep options under just about every circumstance. They should've thought this through better when they wrote this stuff.

Haha personally I think both would  be (are) hilarious.

Doesn;t mean I would be interested in it though, seeing as I have no Kinect, don't wish to own one, and hate dancing games.

*mainly because I am a sucky dancer and probably look like a demented monkey*

I probably couldn't even play that Star Wars game, because in reality I couldn't dance to save my life. Any time I go to a club with friends, I try my longest to hang out at the bar before someone grabs my hand and literally drags me to the dancefloor.

Hmm... What's up with your mic?

It doesn't record a damned thing. Just got the headset today, plugged it in, everything else works, but the mic. Had to reinstal realtek drivers, because the manager disappeared at point X, and while the control panel recognizes the mic, I can't access it, as in, I can't make it a default option and I also have no mic control where my audio control is.

i said yesterday this was planned, they had planned an ending DLC but with all the chit storms over the current ending forced bioware to move there plans forward, the other DLC as i said was either canned or being reajusted to match the new dlc schedule.

BUT also take his comments with a dangerous amount of salt, also remember yesterday they had tweets about them "testing" the "brought forward" DLC  which means in a sense it was planned from the start.

so yeah biowares entry into capcom idea's has backfired in EVERY SINGLE WAY.

I'm on the fence here. On one hand it seems unlikely that they would drag in most of the writing staff if they had planned an 'ending' DLC - since one would assume they would have a fairly clear outline as to what it would contain.

On the other hand if an 'ending' DLC had been planned to be released last*, then they presumably wouldn't need to incorporate details from prior DLC into that outline until much, much later. So they might have realised that they would need to outline what was meant to happen in all planned DLC so they could design the ending to cover them when or if they come out**.

So you could argue either point.

Personally I suspect the tweet is a comment about the DLC development schedules, which would have been thrown into chaos by the need to develop the 'expanded' ending.

(*If there WAS a plan to release an ending DLC I would expect it to be a lead into ME4...so it would also be logical to assume that such an ending would be the one closest to the annoucement/release of ME4. Which would make it the last DLC planned.)

(**Regardless, the expanded ending would have to be capable of incorporating any story developments added by other DLC. Which means they would have to work out some of the details of those DLC's now. It makes far more sense to try and do this, than it does to try and develop the DLC in such a way that it will change the ending. If only from a viewpoint of accidently creating bugs in the game.

Because it would be damn unrealistic if all characters were Bi somhow. I'm happy they did no FemShep LI with Ash.. wouldn't fit her and would be somhow like the "Kaidan is now also in Male"-Shep thing.. And no I have no problems with gay people =) I only don't like character twisting.

Edit: ANd only the gay/bi Kaidan option was planed in the first as I remember =)

High five! There's been some discussion about this elsewhere and the consensus seems to be that Ashley was omitted for female Shepards due to balancing out numbers. It becomes a case of quality versus quantity though, in that although female Shepard does have a number of female options, only Traynor approaches the depth of Kaidan or Steve (for male Shepards) in terms of content. Liara too, if you count her, but that's a whole other argument.

Straight female Shepard got it even worse, though. So yeah. Female Shepard loses out to male Shepard on a lot of things.

I'd agree with you on this, but we're talking only Kaidan and Ashley here, not a whole slew of characters. And in fact a lot of Ash/female Shepard supporters were upset by the fact that in terms of their role in Shepard's story, the VS are identical in all aspects except this.

What I'm saying is that she was in the first game. They decided at the last second to remove it, because of contreversy and such, but the content is still on disc. (You could get a patch that puts it all back into the game).

That's one big reason I don't understand why they left that relationship out this time. Also that why was it this that they decided to single out that relationship option specifically to avoid putting in the game. It doesn't make any sense.
