Yeah yeah, that's why you'll never see me with a "RETAKE ASHLEY WILLIAMS" banner in my signature. It would have been nice but I'll live without it.

One could argue your last point could also be made about the backlash against the ending, though.

The crappy ending is nothing you can compare with a "You did not make the character lesbian cause I wanted to date her with my FemShep"

I don't neccesarily agree. Obviously it's something I could live without, but in my opinion, it's really something that should be in the game from a logical stand point at least. You can't do it with one Vimire Survivor, and not the other.

But you know what they say about opinions.

I din't like it either they twisted Kaidan this way =) and was happy they didn't do it to Ash too cause it dosn't fit of either of the characters (but only my opinion on that).
It would have been better to bring up new characters to that case.

And I didn't want to offend you only state my point on it =)

Yeah, something like this. Yes it probably isn't fair to put up the whole ending against a single romance, but I disagree more on the fact that it's to do with people wanting things from the story, wanting it to unfold in a particular way.
"I couldn't form a deep and meaningful relationship with this character." (Truly, even Ashley's friendship path with female Shepard sucks.)
"I couldn't get the ending I wanted."

Also just wanted to weight in and say I hated that they made Kaidan BI, I have nothing against BI or Lesbian/gay characters but Kaidan is all mine mwuahahahahaha.

Though now that I think of it, if I play as a MaleShep I can still be with Kaidan lol.

Bottom line is what I've personally been complaining about all along. Like the ending(s) or not (I don't) - it comes down to Bioware NOT delivering what was promised. That they claim 'artistic integrity' is laughable. They promised me one thing and sold me something else.

I don't think it's twisting their characters again, when it was part of their characters to begin with. All the build up to the romance remained in ME1, just the actual romance dialogue was cut. It feels awkward, and it makes Ashley's character feel a bit empty.

I'm just saying in her specific case, I think she should also be a Femshep option. I think a lot of people were looking forward to this specific storyline, and are disappointed it's missing. That's all I'm saying.

And of course I'm not offended.

artistic integrity - you cant imagine how I hate that term.. and I'm an artist myself... but as good artist who does stuff for others.. you should know that with "artistic integrity" and insisting on it you are not able to earn money.. if I would allways insist on my "artistic integrity" and never change somthing on my pics I do for others I wuld never earn a cent again...
