OH God damn it.. In matrix its the red pill that takes you out to the real world, and in ME3 its the red ending that takes you to the shepard breathed scene.. I guess i'm slow, but just how much of a Matrix did they try and pull on us??

Very few things in this world are original anymore...unfortunately.

Renegade time

I demand an extended cut that allows me the option to bring down the full firepower of the Alliance fleet on that vent.

but...but...who would be the Catalyst? :(
I prefer BW keep its integrity intact - thankyouverymuch!!!

I'll let Councillor Adina survive, and then strap him in there for capital punishment.  Bingo, brand new catalyst, winwin.

Wouldn't it have been great if it had been a copy of your Shepard?

Now that's a way to mess with someone's mind. Find yourself as a kid telling yourself as an adult that you can save kid-you.

yeahh but..
I dont know.. Its frustrating.. First there was Tali's picture, then the winter on mars image, and now this.. Only with this, instead of having a bearded old jackass in a chair, you have a transparent kid who's a suppreme being..  Most frustrating..

If you don't like big words, then I'll give you fair warning: avoid my fiction. ^_^

Shepard looked down at her desk, no longer revelling in the idea of being a Commander, having her own command, her own ship, her own crew, the ability to do what she wanted, all of that had changed with one communique.

She typed in the password and held her hand against the biometric scanner to authenticate her identity and began the long arduous task she'd been dreading, heck she started the whole Reaper investigation as a way to avoid this, she was filling out her 2186 Alliance Tax Returns.  She looked down and begin checking off the boxes about her various income sources throughout the year...suddenly wishing she hadn't helped so many random people, How on earth was she going to find records for '2356 credits reward for helping colonist retrieve lost family crest'?.. or even worse, all of the paperwork involved in her brief, and incredibly dull, foray into the mining and prospecting business.

In a moment of weakness she suddenly found herself contemplating an idea, a choice, one might call it a renegade trigger point even.  She looked down at the incomplete T-1 form and suddenly thought to herself, "If I don't stop the Reapers, all the records for my income will be lost when they invade Earth.", and with that moment the Alliance Revenue Agency accomplished what the Reapers and even the Citadel Kid were unable to... they got Shepard to give up saving the Galaxy.

Your writing style isn't that far off from my own...bwahahahahahahaha... :innocent:

While it's true that "true" originality is well nigh impossible in this day and age, there are a lot of places to look for things, that when combined, make for unique writing points and sources. I've found that one of the keys to success in writing fiction lies in Varric's line from the Legacy DLC for DA2:

"A good story you don't really write. It was always there. You just uncover it."

Its the way of progress, combining ideas and making it original. In grad school we talked about ethics in writing. Copy one person's ideas and it's plagairism - utilize multiple people's research and its a thesis!

Mhm, i think of it, and it would've been less annoying for me to have a copy of the Shepard you have while entering the Citadel, with Harbinger's voice or something...

I did say less annoying; it would've still been a bad ending, but a bit better for me.
Too obvious for the writers, though.<_<

Precisely.

And you wouldn't believe the number and nature of times that I've come across a new plot idea or devfelopment totally by accident. What really bakes my noodle is how well they (almost) always turn out.

Wow almost 500,000 views and comments, no idea how many posted twice (this is my second), that means out of the 4 million sold, 1/4 are not enjoying the ending not to the mention the 100+ thousand or so that will never post or voice their opinion...that must mean something.

You are a far better writer than those at BW then, at least as of late. I wonder sometimes if the entire ME series was a thesis and the writer's were forced to cite their sources...what would their bibliography look like? I fear the ibids in ME3 would be a little too scarce for the final act of a trilogy.

Your numbers are probably right in the end, but to be realistic, a few regulars here have posted at least 100+.

It does mean something, though. Also, Forbes.

Being as history is written by the victors I expect that history will record we had fighter jets and aircraft carriers and the President of the World supporting us within 10 years.

Gotta love Wikipedia. :innocent:
