Yea, the longer this goes on the more nonsensical the ending seems. The EC will be interesting but I'm not holding out hope at the moment that it's going to address all the issues that we have mentioned to BioWare.
It's like the longer it goes on the more nonsense people find in the ending lol.
I have serious doubts the EC will be able to address many of the issues we brought up, it might address some, but the question is will it be enough?

Do you hold out any hope that they had this planned from the beginning?
good day my fellow lineholders Hows it going? I found another vid from archengeia, its 8 hours old, so its probably been posted allready, but if not, here you go, 50 mins long though
I just finished watching that and was about to post it here myself. He takes the game a lot more personally than I would say I do, but he makes many good points.
I agree 100% with everything he says about what the extended DLC mean from Bioware to the fans (the attitude), and just why there's no way it could fix things. What the ending does not lack is closure per se. It's just broken at it's core. The only way they can even twist it to remotely match what the fans want is by effectively retconning the meaning of events, which involves screwing around a lot of the series' own lore. This is what they've been trying to do on Twitter for the last week, and I say it's best not to buy into that crap.
The events at the ending do have a defitnitive meaning and intention, so whenever they come out say "Oh, I don't know about that :)" I'm just cringing.

Nope none at all, then again I never believed this at all to begin with. I honestly believe they thought the ending was good.
What about you? do you hold out any hope they had this planned?
No I don't think so but part of me hopes that they did, simply because it is so out of character compared to the rest of the series. Unfortunately everything we've heard seems to show that this is the ending they thought was appropriate.

I suppose it would be partially good if they had planned it all along, would mean we could get what was always promised, 16 different endings lol. It really is out of character, I have said to anyone who would listen to me that it was like some pod people replaced the Mass Effect team.
It is hard to believe that the team who brought us 2 amazing games and 95% of an awesome game could fall flat at the very end. My mum (who isn't a gamer) said that she thinks it looks like the team got bored at the end and just threw some stuff together hoping it would stick lol.
I just realized something: if people choose synthesis..does that mean they will be like the Keepers on the Citadel? *insert emoticon that iPod won't let me insert*
