It's not like it's a bad job or anything. I'm sure they're happy when they hear all the praise that gets lavished onto a game. And considering they worked for Bioware, I'm sure they got a lot of it in the past. But they have to take the bad with the good. And if the company they represent screws up, then they do have to deal with it. They don't need my sympathy, especially if all they're going to do is puppet a bunch of arrogant talking points.
It's all that they're ALLOWED to do. It's Basic PR. You tell them what they're allowed to say, and fire anyone who doesn't. Play it convservative and keep your job. And they've been cropping threads like that one for what, over a month now? I tell you what, they can't wait for a proper ending to come out same as us.
Exactly. I know it's all they're allowed to do. But it's their job, and they have to deal with it. As long as it doesn't go into personal insults and the such.
Angry responses from angry customers is something that comes with the territory. It's not their fault that the product sucks, but again why feel sorry for someone who's just pupetting a bunch of talking points, especially if they're getting paid for it.
The anger is not directed at them, but the whole of Bioware when people read comments like the ones they posted. If they're paid to give answer to the people, and the answers suck, what do you think is going to happen. They're going to have to manage until some good news comes along, and you're right they're probably waiting for it more than we are.
