Due to coding and artistic concerns, Vega cannot be the squadmate you choose to eliminate. Sorry

Her name is not worth spelling right...
In the DLC Garus will be killed by a random sniper and Allers will run in to pick up his weapon to help you, her squad power is the Interview attack, where she asks the enemy questions. She will be unable to Die in combat, or be killed in any important plot moments.

You will have the option to donate a kidney to save Garrus though. Unfortunately there is no hospital nearby so you'll have to perform the surgery yourself... also questioning if the physiology is even compatible during the dialog wheel will result in an instant reality check killing Garrus instantly and causing you to pass out from the blood loss.

Also, He will need a stick transfusion for his ass, the old one was damaged by an explosion
