no shepard what is surprising is how he collected ANY of it/how he got through the omega 4 relay

Decisions you make mattering? What game do you think it is you're playing here?

lol yeah i guess i was forgetting im playing this http://doycetesterma.../me2-ending.png

Reminds me of how in ME2, if you ordered a squadmate to use a power that was supposedly not meant to be used on someone who was shielded/armored/barrier'd, they would say variations on how it didn't work. Garrus probably had the most damning thing to say:

"My attack was ineffective!"

Maybe the Prothean VI was the Catalyst all along?

My answer to this.

Oh God I am watching Fresh Prince right now and that exact sound played
Aslo has anyone played a game called Armed and Dangerous or  Giants:Citizen Kabuto? You should if you want a good laugh.

Oh the days of BGII.

"My attack does nothing!"
"My weapon has no effect!"
"No effect? I need a bigger sword ..."

:D
Some of the funniest combat chatter in ME2 was friendly fire. For some reason it was really hard to get, but hearing Samara shout "Shepard, you're hitting me!" cracked me up.

Hello there, Darth!

Got any other old saws to get off your chest, or is this just gonna be a fry-up of an evening? :)

If only such deep and pertinent discussions had taken place in ME3. There was certainly more room for them.

Managed to finish my Renegade Shep last nite and my god more like psychopath than a renegade. When that caption came up asking me to buy more dlc just brought back my anger again.

I know 2 ppl who took the game back. They didn't come onto the forum or make any fuss. Just took game back and moved on. I wonder how many, if any, those who've already taken the game back will actually get the game again when the extended cut dlc comes out or is ME3 dead in the water?

Given how BioWare announced the Extended Cut, I can't imagine much extending being done to the ending. Ten minutes of cutscenes, tops, with some dialogue if we're lucky.

And then everyone who took the game back will just watch the EC DLC on YouTube.

With a summer deadline (that is FAST for programmers), I'm anticipating a few extra scenes and a text epilogue (they announced an epilogue, and making it text based - like DA:O - would work fine).  In the text epilogue, they could give a tailor made conclusion based on our decisions.  I don't know how they could pump out a full fledged, 100% animated cutscene 'Extended Cut' with such a short time window.

Edit: one more note, they still haven't called back the Shepard voice actors.

Oh, Lord. I think that's exactly what we all prayed for. At least not to be treated as we could not get it. Because that's exactly what an "explanation" dlc would seems like.

That'd depend on a lot of things, personal preferences too. How good the DLC is at resolving particular problems with the ending depending on what you didn't like about it, how personalised it is -- whether it's worth actually playing through yourself as opposed to watching on YT or something. But I guess for those who have felt strongly enough, or lost enough faith, to have gone and returned the game outright, BW would have to pull something extremely magical (a very very tall order if building on the existing ending alone) otherwise it sounds like they've made their decision already.
