they want to make the movie like they make there games, low budget and oviously they will cut out the ending so you can pay to see it in the cinemas later on in the year and of course it will be an over priced heap of crap
just like the mass effect movie which has now been canned due to EA not wanting to pay the big bucks to make big bucks, ( they dident want to pay for speilburg they wanted to pay for the guy that made zombie ****s vs female **** strippers movie)

The reason why I was dissapointed with the ending is because it forsake the very elements it supported in the first 2 games. All literary elements expoosed during the first 2 games was totally abandoned. The ending was bland. Putting some cliche piano music in the background of what you think is a "Bittersweet" ending is not art. I mean, the piano music is emotionally packed and all, but the ending is not.
For this, I will discontinue my funding of EA and its shady business practices. Its all a stunt for money, and even though a (*majority*) of players are enraged at the lifeless ending, they still cannot swallow their pride and realize that they (bleep)ed up.
As said in another movie, Narrative Coherence is totally abandoned. I have million of questions, and a trilogy is supposed to give closure to your inquiries, not give you more inquires. I just hope this whole charade was worth the publicity it gave the company.
I am ENRAGED. I dont need closure, I dont need any "Broken Steel" DLC. I need closure. I want my 70 dollars worth. This is a slap and my face and I feel insulted by the company. If I wanted to pick a color I would go fold origami, at least it wouldnt cost me 70 dollars in the end.
Bioware, I hope your reading this because I am ashamed. Get rid of the color coded ending, and replace it with maybe a bad-ass scene where we forsake the endings just to watch the reapers get destroyed by a massive armada of hundreds of civilizations combined, not some cliche color coded ending where I have to jump in a beam, grab some bars, or walk towards an exploding tube to get their so called "closure." Sorry for my rant.

This guy actualy writes a better ending than BioWare does.
little to hokey for me. I would like it better if they had not explained the Reapers at all. Through all 3 games, we were told that they were beyond our comprehension. They should have ended it that way too. They should have ended the game when right after TIM dies. Had the console there be the trigger for the crucible, and show the Reapers getting the crap blown out of them.
Then depending on choices you made, and how much of a jerk or saint you were, the Citadel blows up or doesn't. Then show the plot important characters and the Fleet, Hackett or your crew/LI come to rescue you, and then it could have been over. They could have an epilogue of your various choices, showing Geth helping Quarians building Tali's house, , Wrex with the Turian Primarch, or with EVE. Just some quick cutscenes showing all the surviving important characters doing what they would be doing to get the galaxy back on track.
Basically just cut the Starbaby and the explanation of the Reapers out.
To be honest I am loosing intrest in ME game series and BioWare. 3 failed games in my eyes. I may play ME3 MP now and then but thats it. As for SP game in ME3 I have all but forgoten it like I have with DA2. I wont be replaying ME3 SP.

Fact is, of the moderate number of people who actively accept the endings whom I have asked, not many of them were even remotely against either an ending rewrite or new endings being added, with every one of the people saying "yeah, if they made it, I'd buy it". Note that these are the people who like the ending, agreeing that the retakers can have what they want.
No matter how much you look at it from seperate perspectives, Pro-enders are just as selfish as they believe retakers are. Retakers want something that they want, as well as others, to an extent, that's being selfish, but so is denying them it, for the sake of yourself.
Way I see it, as a retaker and as part of many communities, is that if people want it, and it's feasbile, then there's nothing wrong with doing it. Mass Effect has been meandered by fanbase decisions before, anyone who has even been listening remotely to developer talk over the past 5 years or so will know that Tali and Garrus romances, modifications, the inclusion of several system features, were all added in by fan request. This wouldn't be new to the franchise, nor would it be new to the gaming industry. If people want silly things like balloon launchers or hanar vanguards in multiplayer, then if Bioware can get it done, then I hardly care if they give it to the community, should the demand be large enough. Call me insane, but I'm a communal man, and I'm happy when the community is happy. If you're happy with what you've been given, the good for you, but if a lot of people want the same thing, then why not give it them?
Don't you understand? Just as a lot of "pro-enders" are not commenting or fighting for their side, so are "retakers", and even so, it doesn't matter. If 60,000 people are willing to step forward and state their complete dis-satisfaction with the endings, then statistically, you have to believe that more people are dis-satisfied than that. Doctrine for complaints is to immediately assume that only one 27th of the unsatisfied fanbase is coming forward to complain. Therefore, it you want the actual size of the people who are against it, you are looking at anywhere between 60,000 and 1.6 million people who are against the ending. Fact is, nobody knows how many people don't like the ending, and it would be foolish to try to calculate a percentage of unhappy people. As I mentioned before, a lot of people happy with the endings don't care if endings are added, just like I don't care if they release hanar in multiplayer, as such, the amount of people you are actually infuriating by changing the ending is likely to be less than those who are standing forward now.
Anyone saying anything about this being "unprecedented" needs to stop, look back at all the changes in games, films, books and even art itself. "Art" has been changed many times, and frankly, so few people gave a damn that these things changed. How many people raised outrage when Sherlock Holmes was reborn, or when Fallout 3 recieved post-ending DLC, or when director cuts of films were released which changed how it ended? The answer is: Very few. There's a difference between liking the ending, and simply refusing to allow it to be changed. Just because I say that I like cheese sandwiches doesn't mean that I won't eat ham sandwiches on cheese sandwich-day. All it means is that I'm happy with how it is now.
If someone releases a completely unbiased poll showing that one side is clearly vaster in majority, with people who aren't bothered if it changes or not removed/given an alternative vote to click, then I would be willing to compare numbers, but not you, me, EA, Bioware or anyone else can determine the percentage of upset people, and anyone trying to do so with current numbers is fooling themselves. We could be a "vocal minority", but we could also be the vast majority, only time can tell.
Edit: By any chance has anyone got some defibrillators handy, just in case this frail little thread's heart stops?
*End of Contribution*
