It's just a video game. Life goes on. It will come and pass. Pretty soon, ME4 will be announced, and many of us will be jumping for joy once again.

Only those of us who haven't learned from DA2 and ME3.

Bioware is gone, all that's left is an empty husk, a name and an old rep and some IP for EA to milk until it runs dry with worthless extruded sequels, and then discard.

But it ends up killing cash flow for the quarter!

Look at Apple. They don't do focus groups for a reason. Even Steve Jobs claims that people really don't know what they want. And look at how Apple has been successful, despite not listening to consumers most of the time for guidance.

True, you can't really give too much credence to focus groups and polls. And you can give none to Internet forums, where a small minority can give you a distorted view of the what the consumer wants.

And I fully intend to play the game and experience the ending for myself. I think it will be a great game.

But if there is a lack of emotional payoff for those players who went through the series playing an heroic, triumphal Shepard then those players will feel understandably cheated. Jobs wouldn't have made that mistake because while he didn't rely on focus groups, he did deliver what people wanted.

It's not just this forum, though. Other sites where this has been leaked are full of comments like, "Sh**, that sucks. Thanks, man. You just save me $60."

You'll see. This is DA2 all over again.

1 bad game (That got high reviews from a lot of critics) and a game that isn't out yet, and Bioware is automatically an "empty husk, and name and an old rep and some IP for EA to milk"?

won't buy it same thing people say about COD and that gets more sells every year.

The only reason I care about the buying habits of people who say "dudebro" alot, play drunk, and like to mimic taking a dump on the corpse of their fallen foes, is because their market dominance ends up shoving all other tastes out of the market over time.

Well, we'll see when the game is released. But personally, I think it will be well received by the general public (and not denizens of the BSN like us).

Most video game critics lack any discernment, or are on the payola, or both.

Just out of curiosity, did anyone get the inclination that peace between the Geth (the non-fanatics) and the Quarians was a possibility, in ME3, from ME2? Think about it. If the "stars align" and you made more of the best of possible choices, uniting the majority of the galaxy (Geth and their awesome ships included), then it is possible to achieve a "truer" sense of victory at the end. At least that is what I might expect.

Proof?

(Actual proof, not anti-critic bandwagoning. That gets very old, very quick.)

" Spam.

I think most people who are pre-judging the game based on what other people have said or done, should play the game for themselves before asking us for information or answers. Because really, spoiling the game for yourselves and complaining about how bad things are before the game has been officially released isn't conducive to constructive discussion.

But what do I know? i've only seen this phenomenon in our community for every release since Neverwinter Nights. ;)

End of line."

to me it sounds like .....yeah....we are screwed

Of course he's going to say that, he wants the game to sell enough that they can keep milking the IP and he can keep his job.

Assuming in the 1% chance that there is an unlock ending, does anyone here know how the release dates thing works for the PC? I live in the US but just received word I will be in Denmark the next two weeks, leaving Sunday. So to play it before then I would have to switch to PC and basically borrow someone's save off MassEffect2Saves.com. If I download it in the US before I leave, can I start playing it March 6th or would that I be connecting in from overseas make me wait until March 9th?

Woo is just an employee, who does stuff because his boss says so. I wouldn't necessarily blame him for the lockdowns - he is just doing his job.

Actually guys, there are two more photos.
Just change the 3 in the graphic-address (...photo_3...) to a 1 or 2.

Yup. Those two are TIM and Shepard talking to The Guardian, also taken by Xio.

As these looks like in-game cutscenes, it isn't unlikely that there would be a different in-game scene with Shepard and the Crew united or hinted that they will be united.

And as I recall that no one didn't reached the 5000 EMS
