"AHMIGAHD IT'S FREE! FREE!"

Excuse any nastiness here ... but it still severely disappoints me to see how some people's brains stop at the word "free", as though this were the answer to everything, as though it invalidates every other argument. Yes, I appreciate the fact that it's free, but not the fact that it doesn't address the issue or that its being free is used as a weapon against dissent. There are some very stupid consumers out there.

Mass Effect 1 is/was my favourite game I have ever played, and I can't really forgive ME3 for somehow ruining that. I mean, that was the least of my worries when I started playing the game. Who thought it could be so awful that it was reverberate back and destroy the rest of the franchise?

Yeah, this is one of the worst things of all. There was so much riding on this that building the ending of the arc on garbage foundations meant it brought down the entire thing. It's a level of failure that has to be experienced to be understood.

There was no point in preserving that character I had, because nothing she did mattered anyways. What the hell is the point of creating all these characters with variable story points if they all end up with the exact same story anyways.

pretty much how i feel.
i destroyed the collector base and the result of that was at TIM's base, "oh look, there's bits and pieces of the human reaper here, well ain't that something... lets keep moving."
I learned after beating the game that if you save the collector base, that scene plays out as such, "Oh look, there's bits and pieces of the human reaper here, well ain't that something... lets keep moving."

Bought ME2 for about £6. Loved every minute of it. Pre-ordered ME3, played the demo, loved 95% of the game. Sure the ending wasn't great, but the buildup was superb. Especially Tuchanka and Menae.

You know when multiple fan-made trailers are better received by a big audience that something is wrong.

A team of designers outdone by one or two youtube members...sad, sad day.

*Crawls out of several pages of Java programming code*...Wanna know something funny?
Tried ME3 again, thought about the ending...closed the game and started typing just over 300 lines of Java code.

When an ending can do that, you know there are issues.

Oh, it gets worse. ME3's ending has pushed me to type up a total of 713 pages of Java code (including todays), and just over 9000 words for essays and reports.
Every time I play that game, I get so annoyed at gaming that I go do work.

I think and hope Germany ...They were amazing 2 years ago ..young quick team playing unreal football..
Want someone like that to win....Flamboyance and Panache ....
now I always was wondering that there was no mini games in ME series...
correction ...vaguely remember something in ME1...but rest ..nothing.
Shame though...I miss Pazaak...lol

I don't know why, but I see the dutch going all the way. What I personally want to see, is Spain abandon the notion of playing an out and out striker and just go with a mass of midfielders; Xavi, Iniesta, Mata, Xabi Alonso, Silva, Pedro all playing at the same time...crazy I know but me wants to see it lol

Well we do need someone around here to stay sane while everyone else gradually loses it from continued ME3-ending exposure. :D

Haha that's very true, luckily I have no real desire to play it again anyway. Don't think I need to depress myself all over again.

When I watched my nephew play the end of ME3 I found it less depressing maybe cause I was watching rather than taking part. Maybe that's the key if the DLC is so bad I'll get my nephew to finish my ME3 walkthroughs for me.

Hey I figured I'd just pop in. I'm still here, just lurking though. I'm in the middle of engineering finals, so I haven't really had the energy to be posting a heck of a lot.

I watched my dad play part of the ending before I had to leave the room, sadly my voice broke when I said I was leaving lol.

Hey no problem. not everyone has to be here but I personally do believe it's good for some of us to be regular just to keep the thread from going stale.

Good luck on your finals! :wizard:

A lot of us are still here - just waiting for developments atm.  I can't spend as much time on the forums for the next few months as I did during March or else I'd be living on the streets at the end of it, haha.

I am glad you're not my aunt...hahaha

I played ME3 twice, but I only did the ending once. My mom wants to play ME now, but I told her she needs to start from ME1, so it should take her a while to get to ME3

And oh, good morning everyone!

It's the fan reaction part that's set the forum alight, really you folk should get out sometimes, spending all your time in this thread is not good for your health, get out an explore other threads, get plenty of fresh air news.
