How does starbrat control trillions upon trillions of living species at once, especially if he's sitting in single hub, without something like a mass relay available to theoretically transmit a signal across the galaxy. Also, I'm pretty sure he just changed every single living thing in the galaxy here. "Trillions upon trillions" isn't even a close estimate of what he has to deal with.

Also, does space magic secretly transmit recievers that get implanted into each of these living things as well? Do the new cyborgs kin also magically inherit these recievers. If it's genetic, it makes even less sense than robot DNA.

i think my brain will explode if i try understanding anymore of this ending stuff especially the green one, ive already got a headache now haha and yeah everything was changed/had that green shimmer to it (leaves, the trees etc)

Because the very essence of what he is is now merged with every single organic lifeform in the galaxy.

Never underestimate Space Magic, I guess... B)

I'm pretty sure Bioware intended for that to be the least evil choice. The "stop the reaper cycle once and for all" choice that also prevents a synthetic uprising from ever occuring again... Except it doesn't. All it does is unwillingly turn everyone in the galaxy into some undefinable cyborg. It does not prevent these new cyborgs from eventually creating their own servent synthertic AI's which will predictably rebel.

To say the Reapers' plan makes zero sense is an understatement. They are essentially working against themselves.

hell i should have just saved some time and joined saren back in ME1 then if this was the "best choice".....<_<

Saren was a good villain. Especially compared to starbrat (who's not even really supposed to be a villain, I think). It probably would've been best to simply listen to Saren, to avoid having to eventually sit through the ME3 ending.

Wait, what? How come I missed this?

Not sure it is actually mentioned a few times in ME2

Vigil also says that about the keepers in ME1 when you first get to him

Read the quote I posted (which is quoted here).
It comes from the ME wiki

Nail on head
It is logical when taking the statement "ALL Synthetic and organic life will be merged"; the catalyst is a synthetic.

I bet he is a pre-merged organic synthetic entity that wanted friend to play with. It was all a giant misunderstanding. The little bastard didn't want to be the only synganic freak in the universe.

sounds like speculation but i liked that part by the end  "as opposed to a game that ended with a lot of people shouting out "WTF?" was the first thing out of my mouth when the credits rolled lol

I don't say I'm entitled to or deserve free DLC, but if they had pulled that stunt and charged for the ending after this fiasco, I'd be out the door taking my wallet with me.

I don't mean this offensively, but that's just pure BS. Breaking down why would take forever, and is just not worth the effort.

I don't know why I ever engage in discussions that involve taking the ending seriously. I always feel the dumber for it, lol. (None of this is a slight at you. The endings are just the dumbest piece of pseudo-philosophical BS that I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with.)

edit: that still sounds offensive. I just wanted to point out that i know you're simply playing devil's advocate.

Well No.

We need a ending we can make sense of.

We don't need an ending that we want.
Make Sense ?

It might surprise you to know that I agree with you, my speculations are just that, speculations, because that's all the ending left us with.

Yeah, I had to edit my post to clarify just that. I know you're simply playing Devil's advocate/

Even if part of all that article is true, it's too sad. It's sad that companies now think that it's OK to release an incomplete game and then charge more for an ending. Something is out of control in the gaming world.

Since I only played ME3 once (one time saying WTF in the end is enough for now), I don't remember if it had an explanation for me not having my portable nuclear weapon anymore. I mean, how did you have those special weapons before, and nothing of the kind later on?

They misjudged their demographic.

No offense to anyone but from what I've seen the Asuras wrath players are little more than God of War fanboys looking for the next set of cheap thrills with no plot while the FF people are practically evangelists with how devoted they are to the FF brand no matter what essentially happens with it.

The Mass effect users on the other hand come from a very wide background from students to professionals of every societal branch.

In other words a wide range of thinking people. Not kids that just ask their parents for 20 bucks to go get some MS or PSN points to buy the new content and **** on the forums or such.

They pissed off people who bought the game with money out of their own wallet, a completely different ball game

Well, while I can't say for sure, I believe that logic after observation dictates me to believe that there is at least some truth in what you said.

In the end, they messed with the wrong crowd. B)

While I do not agree with the statement "It's just a game" I prefer my anger energies aimed at things in the real world that greatly overshadow the problems of this game.

Yep as a student with no job I don't spend $60 lightly. Had this been bought for me then I might have been more sympathetic, but thats not the case.

Also ME is supposed to be a series that is based on well though out and engaging stories. Not cheap thrills. It felt like with ME3 they went away from this with the mp addition (I'll conced it isn't bad) and tried to make a space version of COD.
