I meant to tell this little tale earlier, but what can I say, it had been a busy weekend!

Friday I was having a chat with one of my junior high students on why he was getting a 15%-ish grade in my class. I was asking him how he planned on improving without ever doing work. At this point, the 3k pages of this thread moved from the subconscious part to the conscious part of my brain because my exact words were "How do you plan on passing without ever doing any work? Space Magic?" As this came out of my mouth, I thought to myself it has possible I have been on these forums too much recently. I was quickly trying to think of how to restate my question so it made any form of sense, because I guarantee this kid had never dealt with the Mass Effect series, the kid blew my mind.

He looked me straight in the eye and said, "No, there is no such thing as space magic."

Ahh, From the mouths of babes...

After that chat I had to make a mental note not to check the forums between class periods anymore! ;p

I'm pretty sure you would have been obliged to give the kid a pass if he had of replied with "Indoctrination" or "Citadel Kid" or "Commander Shepard"

give the kid some extra points there. he obviously knows more than Bioware..

I think this is bad.

Yeah, this is something bad.

I'm no expert but I think that's something to tell a doctor, not us.

Sorry.

Ignore that post.

I'm not exactly thinking clearly.

Bleeding from your legs? Swollen legs.. please get yourself to a doctor in the morning and get checked out.. Please..

Is it just me, or has BioWare been messing up a lot lately. I'm talking about everything, ME3 ending included.

They certainly seem to be stumbling over themselves to sort out this mess but are lacking coordination, the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing.

You mean, face import bug, journal that doesn't update itself, useless side missions, ending, face import patch that doesn't work for a lot of people, ads that twist our words(though that was EA)...

What are you talking about? Bioware is perfectly fine...

Sounds like Wuchereria Bancrofti, aka Elephantiasis... which is wierd if it is cause it's the second person in like a month I've heard having it, and considering it's already almost unheard of in North America.  It's parasites that get in if you're in like bog/swamps/standing water in the southern US/South America/Africa... get yourself to a doctor now if you haven't, at the very least, anything that breaks the skin is serious enough to warrant hospitalization if only to prevent infection/gangrene/amputation... yeah it's that serious

I was extremely dissapointed when I discovered the majority of rescue missions just required scanning planets, oh look, I found a cruiser, oh look I found some snipers, why could we not get down in the dirt and rescue these assets.

Trouble is the Normandy only had liability coverage on the drop shuttle... had you still had the Mako or the Hammerhead you'd be okay, they're fully covered.  Alliance Bureaucracy at its finest.

my thoughts exactly, Hudson even said we'd be able to go down to planets, guess he forget to mention that we'd only get to do that about, what 10 times maybe?

Mako was replaced with the Hammerhead which had no armour, first mission they explain in the hangar that it was on earth getting retrofitted with stealth armour systems.. and is presumed destroyed since the Reapers kinda landed and all.

It's a bit more then that, but they were constructed a lot better then previous missions. Still, compared to ME1, big let down.<_<

Yep. This was very dissapointing.

But besides the ending, things like the lack of signaling in the galaxy maps, the lack of updates on your mission logs (maybe they thought that it would be good for us to write everything down by hand...), for example, were very distressing. I imagine that if you played the game straight for 50 hours you could remember everything. But since some of us have to work and raise a family, and the games take weeks, going back to your journal and finding no clue about where the thing is supposed to be, was very frustrating. The journals were clearly rushed and uncomplete. It would be terribly dissapointing if they don't fix it.
