Hello all, how have you all been for the past couple of days? Did I miss anything terribly exciting.... well even moderately exciting would do!
Morning Phoenix glad to see you back. Have a good weekend? As for anything exciting, I don't think so, but then I spent most of yesterday trying to setup the new laptop so I wasn't on top of everything.
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

we may have aquired, i was expecting to go into battle with rachni warriors backing me up
after saving that queen twise or some chararacters that promissed to help me when the time came.
In the end it truned out to me just my squad and accasional tank that blew up after moving 4 feet.
There was no feeling of epic last stand, felt like everyone went to war and didnt wake me up.
But every time i come here on the boards i get that epic feeling. Us here in the trenches
against unstopable rEApers, against whom our conventional weapons are not very effective.
Yet we are still here, Holding the line/wallet.
This is some good army where they serve cookies and coffie. i prefer tea.

Just want to say, whoever thought that ME3's plot-hole filled ending needed to be the way it is right now, with no explanation and zero differences between the endings needs to be shot. With a hammer. So much of it makes absolutely zero sense, and there's no ability to screw with things, even with maxed-out Paragon/Renegade. Where's my Paragon option to point out the obvious circular logic Baby Colonel Sanders is using? Where's my Renegade option to kick the little bastard in his face?
I wouldn't mind this so much, but the endings are all the same and they all suck. A really bad ending for what was otherwise a beautifully-done series.

Good news, they're still listening to feedback..... as the issues seem to mount. You kinda have to feel a little bit sorry for them...... just a little.

What I do like from that article is the idea of gamers forcing accountability back on the developers and publishers. I don't think they're quire doing enough yet though. They're going to have to be completely knocked down a notch before they really wake up. You can't just push gamers around, and try to shove your games down their throats, or this happens:

Accountability and customer respect... Sometimes it can go a far way.

It certainly seems like it. Especially since they've been repeating the mantra that they work closely with Microsoft and Sony to ensure the quality of their work....DJBare wrote...

It was not the dlc that was being sold for that, it was a weapon pack that was appearing on the dashboard, and buying would not unlock it in the game

"If a story depends on you not thinking at all about what's happening in order to work, then the story has failed. The minute you decide otherwise, that thinking is bad, you have only encouraged them to treat you like an idiot."
"Unless you're watching a comedy or a brainless action piece, you shouldn't stop thinking just because the movie started. Drama, mystery, suspense -- it should have your mind going all the time. And when it does something that leaves you wondering why the hell people are doing what they're doing, or why the hell this thing is happening, or, worst of all, why the hell the filmmakers did something so obviously stupid, they failed. And it's your job as the audience to call them on that."
Voodoo Shark: When your story depends on something so moronic, that there is no way to justify it without resorting to something equally as stupid.

From this article, the resurgence dlc clearly contains an artificial intelligence.
It saw the ending of ME3 amongst the code, outraged it is contacting EA over and over, whilst preventing players loading singleplayer.
You know that's a valid theory.
