I bought most of the weapon/item/appearance packs for ME2, but I flat refuse to get anything for ME3 unless and until they fix the ending. The difference here is that in the case of the former, these were additions for something which was very satisfying overall and still retained replay potential.

This "something we are very proud of" thing is a pain in the butt. Did anyone ever release something they were not proud of? At least publicly, as they promoted the thing?
People should avoid that line. Be more creative, or more direct. All this ready-made phrasing is really irritating.

Or the ending

Ending be damned, the rest of the game was fabulous. I also have no self-control: if whatever it is is single player and good enough, I'll probably take it. Even though the ending did sorely sour the rest of the game for me in ways which have never been before imagined...xHezz90 wrote...

He doens't specify, but what else could it be? The fact that the galaxy readiness percentage decreases everyday? Well, you can just play MP again...

Yes. We discussed that before. I think one of the steps BW should take to prove that they really appreciate their customers is to make an "opt-out of MP" patch. Being an optional thing, just those who, like me, can't stand MP, would very much like to see their war assets recalculated just for SP. Forcing MP is a bad, bad thing to do. Especially after all the problems ME3 generated.

The readiness percentage degrades significantly faster, actually. By my reckoning, it goes down by three points per day you don't play OR one point every time you exit and then restart the game. At least, on the PC version.
What a slapdash way of doing it.

....and here lies the problem. If you're still going to buy the stuff they bring out why should they bother fixing the ending?

Or me, who can't access MP.
I read the twitter that the person who asked the question, and it is clearly about the MP and war assets issue. I think they are probably either lowering the requirements or making some assets more valuable.

I don't know about PC, but I know that in the Xbox version, all you have to do is not log in to the EA servers. It has worked for people
