I don't understand why retake omega is something people talk abou so much. Wh would I want to help Aria take Omega? What good would that do me in the war, if she liars mercs in takin it back then has to use the remainder just to tr and keep omega? I dont even like Aria. I wouldn't download that if I lived ME3 and the ending. *perplexed face*

Do people keep talking about it bc bioware has hinted at/talked about it's release, or just bc they want to help Aria?

And no, I won't be downloading dlc for ME3 before the free summer stuff. I don't even know if I'll download that since I'd rather save myself the pain of haven to play through that ending again. I'll probably just watch my husband play or com on here to see what people think.

one of the books/comic things about Aria (forgot which) apparently mentioned that it'd be continued in ME3 or something, plus since Aria's practically advertising it it seems logical to assume it'll be a DLC at some point (not that i'd really want it to be at this point)

It makes no sense really, you already have her mercs if you have done her side quests,omegas only export is red sand and corpses from airlocks, why would anyone want it? Post ending still why would anyone want it but her? And if its garrisoned by cerberus forces what will  hapeen once cerberus is destroyed?

it all depends on certain factors

1)- price (VERY IMPORTANT)
will it be cheap IE:- 120-400ms points or will it be crazy expensive 1200-2400 ms points

2)- gameplay length
will it be a 20minutes, 1 hour, 5 hours worth of extra gameplay, this also effects the price of the DLC, cheap DLC = low gameplay time

3)- content
what will it change, what will it add, do we get more missions, more weapons, squadmates etc

thats just 3 things that will need to be taken into account, stuff like MP DLC packs i feel are just not worth it, apperance packs add nothing, weapon packs add nothing, map packs for MP add nothing.
what does need to be added are a TON of new missions, a ton of new squad mates or the ability to use older squadmates.
DLC i would love to have is a final mission suicide pack where we go BACK through the omega 4 relay with new AND old squadmates for a full on assult / invasion of the reaper homeworld to blow it to hell, and make it CO-OP but have it so that you have 3 other people leading 2 other squad mates in diffrent directions.

we ALL know that the retaking omega DLC is a cert even tho bioware deny all knowlage of it.
but i would just love to have all the old squadmates from the previous 2 games added to the squadmate list and have the ability to have upto 3 squadmates on a mission.

one other thing, i have an idea on how to save thane, mordin as well as legion so they are there till the end.

first thane
IDEA, we dont know much about drell but we could have it that his body entered a hibernation state, something thats automatic when the body is fighting infection and the person is near death at the same time.
to make it valid it can be done in a way that it was a lost art of the drell spieces, maybe thane with all his meditation and relaxation techniqes might have triggered the situation

next mordin,
well he's in the tower and he has just fixed the reprogramming after that he's standing there for about 10-20 seconds doing nothing, a tower that size must have escape parachutes incase of a  disater and theres a huge glass window which must have explosive bolts to blow it out (you can guess where i'm going) he could grab a parachute or jetpack or whatever they use, hit the emerngcy escape button which blows the window out, he jumps out uses the parachute / jetpack / whatever and land a safe distance from the  tower, hell it might even have escape pods that blast you out.

now legion
this is easy, he could copy himself into the normandy servers with a constant link so his mind and memorys are being constantly updated and when he sacrifices himself he would just need to upload into a platform just like what edi did.


3 ideas to save 3 lives and it can all be done in a valid sensible way

That's just it, isn't it. It feels like they're trying to pull damage control for the general public, while repeatedly throwing their loyal fanbase under the bus in order to do it.

it was on forbes as well as the EA nasdaq reports.
they shipped out 3.5 million and sold just under a million, another week of sales and it will be  1 million

i find it hilarious that APPLE has caused worldwide stock/share to nosedive in value in the past 2 days, EA lost over $400 million in ONE DAY, microsoft lost nearly DOUBLE that and apple ....... in one day (yesterday) they lost nearly $3 BILLION in share value all because of comments they made about tech and other stuff.
still trying to find out what they said, for shares to die that fast in one day then it must have been REALLY BAD

Admittedly this is a personal opinion but I don't think they should find a way to bring them back. I think their deaths were incredibly well done and poignant.

Oh, I agree completely. The ending itself, although completely awfull, is not what made me return my game. When I first finished ME 3 I was confused and disappointed, but it wasn't until Bioware started with their PR nonsense that I became truly angry.

They didn't lose me at the end of the game, they lost me with their poor response to our disappointment. I hope they can win me back with EC.

Thane: He was amusingly still breathing when we left him. Not sure whether Bioware forgot to turn off the respiration animation or if we left him while he was still alive, just unconscious.

Mordin: Your theory is rather probable in real life, but I doubt that Bioware thought that in-depth about it. I'd say that if anything, his death was not a bleak failure, he did exactly what he intended to do, gave an entire species a second chance, then happily went to his grave. Granted, some seashell testing would have been nice, but I'm not sad he's dead, he went out in a good way.

Legion: I believe that copying himself to another platform is difficult for a Geth to do, I believe that legion was unique, and it'd be awfully difficult to replicate all information of himself in any short amount of time. Imagine trying to copy and paste your entire life onto a computer, it'd take years, even with space magic, it'd take a long time. If he did so prior to Rannoch, then it'd be possible, but I don't think he'd be able to do it any time within the minute.

Not that I wouldn't like to see the possibility of saving them.
