I will absolutely download the extended cut DLC, even if I can't see the ending as it exists could possibly be fixed. But then, I was calling for people to "wait and see" whether the Prothean was proper DLC or Disc Locked Content, and I couldn't believe the ending was as bad as people said until I played it myself.....

I guess that makes me an optimist? That's a funny thought right there.

i agree with that, I didn't mind them dieing (was extremely sad though of course) because they were done well

G_bassi - yeah it is. I really don't understand why they are making it personal on the fans' behalf. Giving us personal reason to try and block their sales by word of mouth and returning their games!

I agree with you that we need to wait and see but Mike Gamble was talking about another piece of work that had received QA approval that isn't the EC dlc.

Biggles - that's exactly what I mean. Why would taking back omega be worth anything in the war? It doesn't seem like a place valuable for information (unless they drop a surprise it's all on mars after all this time kind of plot line), you have her support for the war. I just... If they wanted dlc to have it's best shot I'd think it would take us somewhere new to give new info or somewhere old (like Ilos) where we haven't mined t info that nay be there?

I would seriously wonder if releasing a Pay SP DLC before the Extended Cut is released would be a good idea as it might upset ppl more that what they already are.

Taking back Omega would only really make sense as a Post-Ending DLC.. so you can return a favor ocause Aria gave you her mercs..

@Chmarr tbh of all the chars you mentioned only thane would make sense in terms of being able to save him.

All the other chars decided for themselves that they're going to die.

This made me laugh. The author has invested another 40 hours into ME2 to develop a romance with Thane to watch the final battle with Thane by their side...... oh wow are they going to be surprised!

If they did have an Omega dlc, I wish they allowed us to go to Mordin's clinic and find Maelon. Then we could get him to distribute the cure and save Mordin.

Good morning/afternoon/evening (depending on where you live, it's still morning here for another 8 minutes /snicker). How goes the war today? I have read some of the stuff since I left last night, I caught something about someone trying to mug Jessica? I hope she's alright.

I really hope Bioware isn't going to try and release a paid SP DLC before the EC DLC. Not that I have a ton of faith that the EC DLC will fix anything, I still have a spark of hope there somewhere.

well legion is the easy one to bring back

mordin, theres so many ideas i can think of that can save him

thane would be the hardest but in one of the other posts it is true that thane was still breathing when we left him and thane stopped his son from giving him a blood transfusion, maybe when he went unconciousness and after shepard left his son would then have the yes / no say in the blood transfusion so in a sense his son could save his life

Does Thane get injured off screen if you don't talk to him before Cerberus attack and suffocate to death due losing too much blood which carries too little oxygen for him? I weren't able to varify this from anywhere and I don't want to put myself in for another playthrough.
