hi all back from work
going to put put the xbox on an get back into witcher 2, seems ive found my gaming mojo again.
will still hold the line with you fine people though.
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Back from Gamestop with my copy of The Witcher 2.. apparently Amazon is out of stock and unable to meet all preorders so they refunded me.... not a lot of notice but hey thankfully EB still had a few left.
Also discussed the stacks of ME3 on the shelves.. apparently the 'boycott' of all things EA is fairly significant at the local EB. Were laughing about stuff and as I walked out he gave a shout "Hold the line!", to which I laughed and said, "Never left it!"
Wow. I guess the Witcher 2 is very popular...Bioware might want to be careful

A couple of my friends who play games (but not Mass Effect) saw me the other and the first thing they asked is if I liked the ending of ME3, because they've been seeing it everywhere that everyone hates it.
I laughed a little inside. Little do they know that I spend a looooot of hours "holding the line" everyday...

Yeah there was a whole rack at the local one, so like 40 on one display, and then they had another 30 on the Battlefield 3 display as well as a shelf of them all... I'd feel sorry for them except EA thinks they can now spin this into something good lol.

Yeah I saw Crysis 3 is now taking preorders as of today.. won't be preordering that anytime soon, and only if Extended Cut delivers and EA stops being dirty used car salespeople. Take a lesson from Bioware, EA... don't need to mislead to sell just need to give your customers respect they deserve.

Folks, I see what I perceive to be tremendous amount of uncertainty and negativity and an attitude of wanting things done yesterday going on. I want to reming everyone to be patient, hold the line, and let Bioware come up with this Extended Cut DLC. They are being cryptic as can be on it and even though they are trying to clarify the ending, whatever that all means, they have the WHOLE writing team on the project this time which includes Patrick Weekes. No longer is it only going to Hudson and Mac Walters working alone, it is the whole crew this time. I know that people are saying that BW is not listening, but you know, if they weren't listening, they would not even be doing this much, making clarifying DLC. So we have had an impact on them and on things with Bioware. We just can't give up. We need to keep doing what we can to influence a better ending, a better outcome, something more befitting of Mass Effect. But we can't be doing things like giving up and we certainly can't be acting rude, negative, and being jerks about it all. Respect while holding the line. Remember that. So there's cryptic stuff going on with Jessica Merizan and Michael Gamble and others. Hasn't changed much has it? It could be PR, but it could easily be hints and enticements too. Either way, we need to hold the line and keep pushing for an ending that fits. Plus, would you want to know how it ends, other than the possibility of a happy ending or different endings. Would you want to know exactly how it ends? I understand if you do. But you know what, they might surprise us good. Think about it!!! Look I know it is tough, and I know we are tired and that's okay. Let's show class and not give anyone reason to write us off as whiners and crybabies. Let's try to establish a common ground with BW where we can have a win-win. Whether online corresponding or personally, let's try and get a win-win going. I havre thought about some of the reasons for threads on the BSN forums being locked and when you think about it, some of them have had quite a bit of venom in them. We spent about 2 weeks in the 80s now we're back down to the 60s which is where we should be for April. It was a weird winter here.

To everyone who has Witcher 2: how good is the game? I've nearly got enough to buy it and have heard lots of good reviews from gaming magazines, but I don't trust them anymore, so I just want to confirm how good it actually is.

I did that once before for dead space 2, got hooked and watched about half the game before buying it, then got bored after the first half hour because I had already seen it a few days previously.
I did finish it after a few months and enjoyed it, but would rather not have the same experience with a game that could potentially break my gaming depression.

i like it so far, only got it this morning played it for 3 hrs only stoped for work.

Ahh OK then lol, I just watched a few gameplay vids here and there and the whole part one of a youtube walkthrough
