I'm still here, but I'm staring at my desktop trying to figure out what game to play. I keep jumping from game to game, because I'm having a hard time being motivated enough to play through any one of them. I'm blaming ME3 for killing that drive, lol.

Thank the GoddessThe bioware hit squads missed you!Image IPB
I played Skyrim in full evil mode and got back my will to play, just thought of everyone I killed was named"bioware" and those poor people in the torture chamber(who I always ignore) were not ignored and named EAs.Am now playin New Vegas again till get the Witcher 2.Oh and making a cupcake.

I'm lurking around, but it's 1 am, I'm watching Mystery Science Theater 3000 back to back while reading The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo on my Nook. I keep getting distracted. Damn this technological age of multitasking.

Maybe it's time to branch out genre-wise.

If you've got a joystick, why not try flight sims? I recommend the IL-2 Sturmovik series, more specifically the IL-2 1946 compilation that includes every prior release in the series from 1C Maddox Games combined into one sim. It's pretty old, so it'll run on just about any gaming computer. If your computer can also run ME3 on high, then you could also try IL-2: Cliffs of Dover, which si a Battle of Britain sim with the most delicious eye-candy in a flight sim to date.

I've never really been one for flight sims, but I might as well give it a try.

Though branching out genre-wise isn't the issue. Outside of RPG's I've been playing racing games, sports games, sandobx adventures, RTS games, Fighters, adventure mysteries, and even a first person shooter or two (retro-ish ones). I have a bunch of each in my library, and I've gone through at least one of each before getting bored and moving on.

By the way somebody help me find a good RPG to play:crying: I do not have enough money to buy a brand new copy of the witcher so I need something older.

I have Demon's/Dark Souls

(ME does not count atm)

DA:O DA2

Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout 3 (Didn't like vegas)

I need something that I haven't already played to death and back. Aid is required here.

(Also speaking of RPG's wouldn't it be great if they made a Warhammer 40k RPG?)

Did you try Alpha Protocol ?

Terraria Terraria Terraria Terraria Terraria

We can make Retake ME world, and make the home base a Normandy model, and a giant statue of Marauder Shields, and we can all have space guns & laser rifles, and and and and and

it'd be awesome. And stuff.

Oh dear! And will we ever be able to laugh about it? Or will we smash the screen everytime a game comes up with such a reference? :D

Would be a bit expensive, but nice for the screen industry...

Right on, AP is a surprisingly fun game. It's a shame it got killed by controversies, DRM on PC (which has been removed via official patch, btw, though finding the patch can be a bit tricky). The shooting is kinda like in ME1, sadly, where you need a couple points in the weapon before you can hit what you're aiming at. Otherwise not a lot of complaints.

Spec heavy Martial Arts and Toughness, wear the heaviest armor you can get, sprinkle on some stealth levels, and wreck everything in your path. Non-lethally, even!

The stat screen describes it well. It keeps track of medical bills from non-lethal kills and orphans made via lethal kills. ^_^

Edit: FYI, you can get Alpha Protocol on Steam for $19.99 US.  Pretty sweet deal, imo. I got it a long time after launch for $29.99 and I'd still say I got more than my money's worth.

Was a joke vid for what the EC will be, it was a rainbow colored ending. Someone joked that it's the ending you get if you romance Cortez.

I've seen it before ;)

There's also a vid somewhere of the "GLASS CASE OF EMOTION!" scene from Ron Burgandy titled  "Response to ME3." Which was posted about a week prior to launch.

Am I the only one who thinks that, once upon a time, Bioware would've prepared a cutscene with Joker as the main character if you imported a Shepard Dead save from ME2? A 5 minute opening where Joker dies horribly in the tutorial scene? I think they would've done that like 10 years ago. Just to embrace our terrible choices.

Morning all.

Just listened to the Rooster Teeth Podcast (http://roosterteeth....sode.php?id=160 starts at around 70minutes) someone posted yesterday because they had a ME3 discussion. I was genuinely interested in their opinion because I enjoy the stuff they pot out and are practically storytellers, too.

Couldn't believe as I heard them saying that the obvious plotholes were explained in the game when in the 30 min before the ending discussion and general talking about the me series they missed so much. Really disappointed with them :(

If you haven't played it already, you should definitly give Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines a go.
I am replaying the game for the first time after 2004 and it has aged well.
Be sure to download and apply the unofficial patch before playing, as it fixes a lot of issues the game initially had.

A picture I came across that I think well describes the ME3 ending.
