Precisely. It's literally (bad pun intended) all important British literature between 1700-1950. Last exam was the same, but years 400-1700, but that was easier, since there weren't multiple texts from the same author, couple of poems aside. And there really is no way one can confuse Mallory with Milton.

Now I have to be able to tell Coleridge apart from Wordsworth, identify their poems, the historical context of their writings and I should apparently be able to analyse texts as well...

Would much rather fight reapers. Even rEApers.

Now im really glad im not you... Im pretty sure that if I had to go up to that exam my grade would be so low that they would need a completely new way to grade me...

Absolutely true story: at Scout camp when I was twelve, a lightning bolt hit a tree some ten meters or so away from where I and another scout were sheltering from the rain. Naturally, I cacked my pants.

I've been here my whole life so I'm very much used to it. I go to NY or Michigan or something and I'm wondering how americans can deal with the freakin cold.

You see me with like ten coats trying to stave off the freezing and random people walking around in a T-shirt or something talking about how nice the weather is. There I am with this face.

Thinking to myself.

"You people wouldn't know good weather if it came down and kicked your ass."

While shivering.

Yup, part of compulsory studies as well. I understand why, English majors should be able to recognise important texts etc, but I just feel the exam is a bit too crammed... Maybe they should've made 3 exams, instead of just 2.

Good weather depends on the person... Some people prefer the cold, some prefer the warmth of the sun... Personally I prefer the cold and the rain Image IPB

Oh trust me, I've thought about it, but haven't found a single viable way to do it. I guess I could write the authors and the titles of their works to my inner thighs and ask the permission to use the bathroom or something, but since the exam gives us only passages of those texts, that really doesn't help me in the end. If we're bringing mythology into this, then why not Norse mythology? or Greek mythology?

You need two people for that but how about smoke signs? Probably easier to learn than your literature.

Hahahahaha! oh man it's funny that isn't it? peopler react so different to weather not from where they are climatised. Like I still can't get used to the humidity and heat in New Zealand, I constantly feel like I am not breathing properly....it's hard to explain though, when I am in Scotland and give a nice big breath it feels awesome lol.

Anyways lets get back on topic :D shall we?

Have a t-shirt made with some random texts printed on it ! It's not cheating if you're wearing it! Image IPB
