I think I heard some mumurings a little while ago about how this was not just something that BioWare needed to take notice of but that it was time the companies like Capcom also started listening to their fans more.

HTW has decided to take an aggressive stance, not the best move at this point with Bioware preparing and offering up a free DLC, does not matter whether the DLC meets demands, the keyword is "free", start being aggressive now and the press will use the headline "Whiney entitled gamers moan over FREE content"

We can simply claim that the free content was already intended to be released, was not what we have demanded and that it does not give us what we have been campaigning for. It isn't meant for us, it never was, it's been planned before the movement was even created and it is likely nothing has changed since the introduction of the movement, as they only seem to listen to the pro-ender part of the community. When it is released, if it doesn't please us all, then we still have breathing room to keep up the fight. Granted, we'll be a little bit backed up into a corner, but we still have a viable reason to continue.

Just in case any more people get pulled here thinking that I'm saying we should get agressive: No, i am not saying that whatsoever, I'm referring to the fact that we (us here, not the people somewhere else) still have some ground to stand on should the Extended Cut be as we fear it to be, even if it is free content. Sorry if anyone is expecting me to say we should charge their office, but no, I'm happy just keeping this civil.

And you have proof of this?
Look, I'm not out to rain on your parade, Bioware and the press just need to go through the forums and pick out the nasty bits, so unless you have something substantial to back up that claim you are going to be crucified.

We can and should still build arguments against the DLC even if it's free -- the fact that it's free means we just have to be careful how we frame our arguments -- but I really don't think it will help us at all to make claims like that unless we have certain proof that that is the actual story. They're getting as tired as some of us of the conspiracy- and rumour-mongering.

Gamble has mentioned on more than one occassion that it was already in the mix, and that it was one of the things he was referring to when he said about upcoming content that would make us "want to keep our copies forever". I believe that this was not just before the movement appeared, but also before the official release date for the game. No-one ever told us that they were making this DLC just for us, if Gamble is to be believed, then they'd already said they were going to do an extended cut, and that they moved it forwards due to the "vocal minority". In other words, they moved it forwards in an attempt to shut us up before more DLC came out.

roche was a member of the kings courtand the leader of the blue stripes, the kings own special forses he may have started on the street but was given position by the king

Sorry, sorry, somehow missed this post until now.

Someone over at the HTL forums made a thread which is ... a call to action of sorts. It's not really clear what exactly they want to do, but the crux of it was that they wanted to rally everyone who is currently upset with BioWare and get them to stand up and join in making a statement. There's an ultimatum statement in the post that reads along the lines of "We've had enough, fix the endings and treat us as we deserve or we're taking our business elsewhere".

Sorry for the useless description, I really don't know what to call it. That's part of the reason it's being referred to as "aggressive action" -- the post read a bit like an angry shout calling for people to stand up and join in the angry shouting and because there's no clear "we're going to do X" kind of statements it's hard to shake that impression.

As far as Im concerned I dont particularly follow HTL or HTW.
I like or like(d) REtake ME3 movement. Thats where I found out about charity and that is where I found leads to come here...
I think that guy from Retake had to join these people from HTL or something...
When Charity and money was involved that gave us us power, recognition and legitimacy.
Hope this HTL doesnt turn onto some kind of angry mob.
If I could I would do something with This guy from Retake . Still thinking about it ...

Mr. Gamble has made comments suggesting that there was other stuff in the works yes, however there is no proof that I am aware of that has him or anyone else from BioWare confirming that they were talking about the Extended Cut dlc. Frustration to one side we can only work with the fact that we have. Basing actions on suposition is not going to help anyone and might result in said person getting banned by the moderators.

Edit: The comment he made about it being one of the things he was referring to was based on his comment that they had a lot to discuss with us at PAX.

Respectively I did ask for proof, no offence but someone else's interpretation of a statement is not proof, you need to make the connection between those words and the free extended DLC, I mean a proper connection, eg
"MG: yes the extended DLC was already in the mix"

So I ask again, please provide a link that shows Mike Gamble referring to the extended DLC?

Anyone get a link for the quote he said on twitter? I strongly recall one in which he said something along the lines of "the extended cut was one of the things I was referring to when I said it'd make you want to keep hold of your game forever". Not sure though, it was posted somewhere here, about 700 or so pages back, wasn't it?

You and Mr Connery hold a point though, I 'm not sure whether it was actually said or just hinted at. Could just be a chinese whispers issue.
