One more time, just so everyone gets it straight.

I'm coordinating the whole damn thing, and I'm not going to let it turn into any kind of aggressive anger.

Not to burst your bubble, but I think "Agressive anger" was always in the backrow of those movements. You are "Angry" because you didn't get what you were promised to. We did what we could, and after Bioware announced the EC, I think it is time to put this to rest until we see the Extended cut. They have gigabytes of word documents from the Forums as source for our demands. Writing: "Hold the wallet!" is contra productive.

How about: "Let's see what the extended cut is before we make another movement?". They are "Expanding on the current endings", that does not have to be something bad.

They are forced to nothing. Period. They -can- listen to you, but they are not forced to.

We will remind them of our concerns and state that they stand to lose our business if they DON'T address those concerns.

We will do it all at once on a massive scale, and they will be forced to sit up and take notice instead of ignoring us as always.

Are you referring to a form of "blackout"?

Of course I'm angry.  Most everyone else is too.

But we won't let that be our official message, and we will use intelligence and wits to get what we want.

OMG guys, I heard something awful. The ending to ME3 was terrible, you get some star brat giving you three colours to choose from.

*sorry trying to get a bit of on topic in here just in case* ~ *worries they might close the thread*

Not entirely sure I understand what you mean by "blackout".

Go here to learn more about what we plan.

Our goal is to HUMBLE BioWare, not destroy them.

When we enact what we design to do, it will be done professionally and without any sign of aggression.

It's just that I don't know that standing up and yelling about it is going to do anything at this point other than have them paint you in a negative light.

Hmmm ... The more I re-read the OP the less certain I feel about it. It sounds a lot like your description really. For something that isn't intended to be a fight it sounds outright hostile in places. :?

My statement were based on the OP itself, but after reading some other posts in the thread, I'm unsure again. It doesn't sound too bad. It sounds like it's simply an attempt to be more than simply passive, and if it's that, then there's no problem with it.

Ok but let me ask you something. What do you honestly think standing up and shouting is going to achieve aside from more bad publicity? BioWare have already come back and said they are doing the EC dlc, there's nothing else that they realistically can do at this moment. They themselves have said that they will take the time to do it to the standard it should be.

... Uh, did you read my first post? lol. That's exactly what I said.

lol sorry, reading posts in between trying to make lunch.

I m not that inclined to continue the struggle now... We have achieved our aim in my opinion for now...
Untill DLc comes out ...
I agree we have to still hold the line , be here, keep a vigil , send ideas still !! etc...
We have been heard and they are doing something... If it meets out expectations than job done ..if not than we raise more hell again....
I think also that the whole game industry watched this and took notice ...So we can assume that things will change for good for a while....
But going all gung ho now again defeats the purpose of everyrthing and is reactionary to me...
Maybe some people want their mark on history etc.. I dont know...
but personally I belive patience now is our ally..

I believe it should be crystal clear to them just how many future sales are riding on how well they do on the EC.

It would promote more effort, and result in a higher quality.

Wait until after the EC, and we miss that chance.

But that is only half of it.  The other half is the awful Public Relations tactics.  They need to go.

It's just that the language in your post gives quite a different impression. You talk about shoving BioWare, humbling them, putting them in a difficult situation, forcing them to do something.

You said you wrote this to galvanise the troops. I get that. But while it's not clear what you're actually, physically going to do, this is what it sounds like -- a call to arms for a battle against BioWare. If you really are planning to act calmly and civilly, that's probably not the first impression you want to encourage.

I understand what you are saying but you are assuming that BW/EA aren't already aware of this, they are both big buisnesses and obviously EA do something right or they would have been out of buisness a long time ago.

For now, that is exactly what I want.

We will decide the finer details later, and I always remind everyone how we will accomplish what we plan through intelligence and not passion.

One thing remains certain:  The scale is going to be big.

Have you seen the PR spin they did on the "Most discussed video game ending in history" comment?

They turned it into an advertisement for themselves....

Yeah.  They aren't getting it.

I'm going to help speed their understanding a bit.

How about we just continue doing what we have been? Hold the line, keep the thread alive, share cookies and coffee and root beer etc. and just have faith that it will work at, at least partially, well.

Which part is the part that you want? If you're planning a battle against BioWare, I can't get behind that. If not, and this is a reiteration of what people want, how is this different from what has already been done? The scale of co-ordination? grammar where did you go

Not trying to bring you down here. These are things that need to be clear.

Perhaps it would be in the interest of all if we continued this in PMs?

I want to respect the owner of this thread, and I don't want to make anyone mad.

As the one running the event in question, feel free to ask me anything and everything.

Also feel free to offer suggestions.  I'm not an enraged loon without a brain.  I listen happily to anything anyone has to say, and take everything into consideration.

So true, so why exactly are HTW giving away free ammo to the press, geeze ammo is expensive.

Stop right there.  All of you.
Stop with all this "aggressive" nonsense.  My main post is written to galvanize the troops, but any action we take will NOT be handing ammo to the press.

It may not be your intent, but it is the message you are sending, from your perspective it's a perfectly innocent and logical move, from the perspective of the press it's an aggressive move.
Like I said earlier, I'm not here to rain on anyones parade, but sometimes the message "You must do what you feel is right" is not always true.
