I guess I'm needed after all
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Probably it is best to wait what the EC actually is.. and if it is still broken, crappy, whatever.. that there is a reason to stand up again.. atm best thing is to hold the line.

German tests are overrated. *True story*
If a game in germany is tested about 75% and lower you can actually say it's not very good.. if you are lucky it is a average game ^^

I finished ME3 a few days after release with my fully imported shep, I enjoyed the experience a lot but just as so many others, I disliked the ending a lot. Now, I decided to replay me from scratch (as in: "from me1") and I always like to make up little stories in my head, as in, "how does the story continue".
Now, in my personal headcanon, after ME3, Shep is dead. That's all good and likely to happen. However, none of the choices made any sense to me, obviously, so actually, shep just defeated the reapers in my mind. He died, but he did neither control, nor synthesize, nor did he kill the geth/edi. Also, my mind never wrapped around the destroyed mass relays or the stranded crew. Actually, over the past few days, I made up tons of stories (very rough stories of course) involving the crewmembers in an intact ME-universe, just post-reapers.
For example, what happens with Liara (my LI) after the defeat of the reapers, after learning how the Protheans really are and especially: after losing shep for the second time? However, interesting enough, my mind immediatly thought of her beeing on illium or thessia, rebuilding and stuff. I had a great scene a few decades later, the squad reuniting and thinking of "past times", toasting to a dead shep.
But other than shep dying, nothing of the ending actually happened in my headcanon.
It's interesting to see how I obviously refused to accept the ending presented by bioware on a very subtle and unaware level. I didn't even think about this happening until I took a step back and was like "wait a second. the mass relays are destroyed. the crew is stranded. nothing of my imagination makes any sense".
I just thought I'd share that observation and see if anyone else has the same... "issue".

That was actually pointed at Atrocity and I don't think she took that kind of test

I'm not here to start fights. Just to correct some wrong ideas about what we are doing before they grow.
I m not that inclined to continue the struggle now... We have achieved our aim in my opinion for now...
Untill DLc comes out ...
I agree we have to still hold the line , be here, keep a vigil , send ideas still !! etc...
We have been heard and they are doing something... If it meets out expectations than job done ..if not than we raise more hell again....
I think also that the whole game industry watched this and took notice ...So we can assume that things will change for good for a while....
But going all gung ho now again defeats the purpose of everyrthing and is reactionary to me...
Maybe some people want their mark on history etc.. I dont know...
but personally I belive patience now is our ally..
I believe it should be crystal clear to them just how many future sales are riding on how well they do on the EC.
Wait until after the EC, and we miss that chance.
But that is only half of it. The other half is the awful Public Relations tactics. They need to go.
I'm sure they're well aware of the situation, too.
Which makes their continued lack of dialogue and refusal to compromise so very frustrating.
Bottom line, Two months ago, I wouldn't have trusted any other developer who burned me if they screwed up this badly. And after the month of mistreatment. Bioware is no exception.

Why does anyone think the EC will fix anything...the point of ReTake was to get better endings...Bioware has told us they are not changing the endings...therefore there are no better endings...Is there something in Bioware's announcement to suggest otherwise??? I mean Bioware HAS been pretty clear with their intentions...
It still seems to be the moment where many seem to have just given up upon ME 3.
I am about to, too
In addition to that what happened so far suggests that the possible outcome may not be worth even the efforts so many have put in this for so long now.
It needs a lot of willpower to not just go on with other things by now and forget about ME 3.
That said, I can't blame anyone who comes to think that the EC DLC is still betetr than nothing.

*sigh promised myself I wouldn't get involved with the politics yet here I am commenting*
I understand what you are saying but you are assuming that BW/EA aren't already aware of this, they are both big buisnesses and obviously EA do something right or they would have been out of buisness a long time ago.

i think the same as Phoenix.
they are not stupid people .Quite the contrary actually.
They know they blundered and will rectify the sistuation.
Have you seen the PR spin they did on the "Most discussed video game ending in history" comment?
They turned it into an advertisement for themselves....
Yeah. They aren't getting it.
I'm going to help speed their understanding a bit.
Wait, I just got here.
What's going on? MM what are you planning?
