German tests are overrated. *True story* :D

If a game in germany is tested about 75% and lower you can actually say it's not very good.. if you are lucky it is a average game ^^

That was actually pointed at Atrocity and I don't think she took that kind of test :P

I would've preferred game testing over telling my fictional friends how to get to a cafe :P

Sounds exciting :P Always loved the ridicolous examples teachers/books come up with for learning a language. Well getting coffee is quite normal but I guess you know what I mean. For french we had to teach a parrot directions.

They know they blundered and will rectify the sistuation.

I don't dought that they are aware of it, but what I question is wether they care enough to fix it.

Hmm, I think starbrat would make an excellent example for a language book. Actually, he would be an improvement. My German textbook has some conversations which are even more lacking than he is when it comes to logic.

Or maybe I just don't get the language attitude, maybe it is perfectly normal to first comment on how someone's German is good and then proceed a second later to ask them whether they're married.

That is german etiquette. :P

That could be a relevant teaching method.. So any lurking language teacher in here?

Buck up, we all knew this would be a hard struggle, we just have to wait and see the EC and then decide where to go from there.

On second thought, I love these series way to much.
Wanna know what I'm gonna do ?

Start over the whole series.

There's a little hope left.

Suuuuuure. It won't stop me from looking weirdly anyone who tries that line on me though. <_<

Not to mention the people who do these "fascinating real life conversations" are horrid voice actors. When Till Lindeman sounds more natural than you do, it's time to change job imho :P

As for our language assignment:
"Dieses Ende hat die ganze Serie kaputt gemacht"

Questions? ;)

Yeah, but then you gotta spend over an hour on the Citadel.... >.>

That hour has killed many a replay attempt at ME1

Replaying me3 would mean: Put in the disc -> start new game -> seeing the kid in the intro playing with his toy. -> becomming  annoyed -> turn off console

Yeah, I know what you mean. :(

Because of this I know that, like him, I would not find either game to be fun and entertaining.

I know hours late, so Good morning folks.

No, if they did I would be unhappy with them, because we are all entitled to enjoy what we enjoy and just because someone does not enjoy something I enjoy does not demean my enjoyment of it.  It's called personal preference for a reason :) :D

Don't forget the awesome intro music to these conversations.

If bioware could add the option to skip the earth part after playing through the game once. I could actually play the game again until the cerb hq assault.

Now I'm wondering whether adding intro music to the ending of ME3 would make it so awful it'd actually go full circle and come out as awesome again

You need to think on a bigger scale. Every conversation in me3 needs that kind off intro music :P (and random background noises)

I watch Yahtzee's reviews on both of them and he mentions in both that he never got very far in the game because he disliked the gameplay. This shows that his personal perference made it impossible for him to give an unbaised review.

I like Yahtzee and his reviews, however, I always take them with a grain of salt because of that very reason.  He tends to give a personal review not an objective one.  This is my opinion not an objective one :innocent::whistle:

It's a wonder why the world outside gaming looks at us like we're freaks. Look at the comments on that article. All of the comments consist of; A, Bashing Americans. B, Implying that they're going to kill the guy suing. C, Chaining swear words together in a nonsensical sentence of bad grammar and misspelled words.

Ugh, and we're placed into the same group as these people.

In germany there was a politician who placed gamers in general in the same category as child molesters/rapists.

Generalisation = awesome.

Beep.

It has to be "Wie kann man dort hinkommen?"

The way you put it it means something else, rather informal and perverted. Just thought you should know ^_^.

I think the thing to take away from his reviews is he always talks bad about the game he reviews. He does often have good points and I feel that this level of analysis should done by the game makers themselves. But if you are looking for a good review from him as an indication of wether or not to buy a game, then you wont be playing games anymore.

So here are the most likely outcomes for the extended cut, expressed as thread names:

So we STILL can't get the ending we want after all

So we can't get the ending we want after all but at least it now does not make me want to stab my eyes out when I see it

So we can kind of get the ending we want after all
