They are certenly not .
Moreover it can have a negative effect on all campaign .
We went to war .we got something .if it lives up to the promise and is worthy of a games ending than its fine .but if not than we go to war again.
Not thus perpetual state if war .
I don't agree with it.you have to lay your arms for a while and see.
Nit just constant attack ....
Cupkakes were a great alternative ....something along similar lines would be nice
. But not relentless campaign ....

Well, they are making a point of logging IN on the first day to show they want to play, then staying off the next to show the protest.

I still don't think it's going to have much affect. The best way to get EA's attention is if we all went outside their HQ, filled a trash bin with $20 bills, and lit it on fire. Just hope the CO doesn't jump in the bin while it's burning.

You're absolutely right, they have promised to do something about the ending and we need to give them the time to produce it. What happens after that depends entirely on the dlc we are given. They have heard us, they have responded, continuing tactics that could be interpreted as "aggressive" will only damage what people have been trying to achieve and as Mr. Bond so rightly said yesterday, the media will not paint us in a good light.

Well they promised to do something..... they just haven't elaborated on exactly what

so its been 6 weeks since ME3 was launched, in this time we have done a LOT and i mean A LOT (points to mr bonds reposts of weblinks).

in 6 weeks we started a SMALL petition about getting the endings changed  / fixed / retconned and what we have actually done is nothing short of miraculous.

heres a run down on what we have done

1) - protested about the ending

2)- provided REAL FACTS about ME3 / EA / Bioware faults and fiction

3)- sent in cupcakes as a protest (all the same flavour and in 3 wonderful colours red, green and blue

4)- had 1000 origami paper cranes sent to them in the same 3 colours

5)- managed to have bioware change there ENTIRE PAX address, they were supposed to have announced DA3 as well as few other things and

6)- we managed to make them change it from a live stream online to an almost closed out panel, yes the panel WAS supposed to have been streamed,

7)- we made them have an almost media blackout at PAX, only SELECT media that was PRO EA was allowed in

8)- we UNINTENTIONALY frced them to give us PAID DLC as full on FREE DLC

9)- DISPROVED there "artistic integrity" claims from various outlets

10)- we made biowares BIGGEST fan (IGN) to retract and apoligize to US and actually inadvertintly support us

11)- proven without a shadow of a doubt that bioware took ESSIENTAL parts of the game to sell as DLC (i cant be arsed going through the ENTIRE thread to find the link(s) someone provided that did in fact prove it)

12)- gained support from well respected websites within the world of buisiness and technolgy

the biggest by far we actually got the people who reviewed ME3 and gave it a perfect score actually go back and play a RETAIL version, those reviewers have since then RETRACTED there perfect score and gave it a much lower score.

we i FEEL that we have started that is causing huge waves throughout the gaming industry, this just started with 10 people that then suddenly grew to insaine proprtions.

we have had other game developers suddenly stop, look and listen to whats happening

the eyes of the game development world are ALL ON BIOWARE as of this moment, they are waiting to see what they will do and most of all wait for OUR reaction.

we have started other game companys to rethink there game development, rethink promises rethink there entire strategy when it comes to games and DLC.

our rippes became waves and they are slowly turning into tidal waves where other fans of other games are now doing what we are doing ( COD fan protests are slowly starting to meld into a single group just like us)

i think we have started something bigger than we thought, i think we have started a gaming revolution.

I'm not disagreeing with you but you need to be careful saying things like this (in bold) because we don't actually have any proof to back those statements up. Chris Priestly told me himself that the reason there wasn't a live stream was due to technical issues and we were expecting them to announce DA3 but we have nothing to back up that that's what they were planning. We have accomplished something impressive so far but let's avoid calling conjecture "fact" please.

I believe you are quite right on that. I look at everything I've been seeing over the past 6 weeks, and I find that the ending of ME 3 isn't the sole reason I'm here.  I'm here because something has to change, and we can only change it if  we are all here.  This has become more than about the ending of ME 3, this has become about the way game developers and publishers do business with their consumers - us the gamers.

So yes, this started out as a group who were extremely displeased with what happened at the end of ME 3, but I think we have done a lot more than that, in turning the spotlights from the 'entitled gamer' and back on the industry itself.  Bringing the newer practices of publishers and developers into the open so that everyone can see what is going on.  So that people out there are aware of what is happening within this little part of the entertainment industry, so maybe with the scrutiny the gaming industry is coming under will help in bringing things back in line with what they should really be.

I've been thinking of what we can do while we are waiting for the EC. I was thinking a major thing we could do is create a letter campaign. I'm not talking about emails, I'm talking good old fashioned letters.

If all 60,000 + people sent out letters on the same time, they would have like 2-3 weeks of thousands of letters coming in saying the same thing. It'd be like the end of Miracle on 34th Street, where the postmen brought in bag after bag of letters...

What can fans expect from the Extended Cut DLC?
For fans who want
more closure in Mass Effect 3, the DLC will offer extended scenes that

Are there going to be more/different endings or ending DLCs in the future?
No.
BioWare strongly believes in the team's artistic vision for the end of
this arc of the Mass Effect franchise. The extended cut DLC will expand

This happened?

well a lot of people in this very thread looked for these "perfect" scores and recently its been said the "perfect" scores have all become less than perfect now.

reviewers are sent review copies of the game which did not have an ending, i think someone posted a link to a reviewer re-reviewing ME3 by using a retail version and was rather annoyed at what was NOT in the review copy and lowered the score accordingly.

i swear to him up stairs i did see a link, i just cannot be arsed trailing through nearly 3550 pages
