Good, good really glad you've finished your second rewrite loved the first one. As for why your second one is doing better it because people don't love Tali enough

Good, good really glad you've finished your second rewrite loved the first one. As for why your second one is doing better it is because people went with Liara first and don't know how awesome loving Tali is

fixed! lol but i find it hard to believe all the same but thats probably because im obviously biased on this matter haha

Your right about the suicide mission, did me2 the other day, and despite being all ugraded and loyal still worried, and I forgot about the glancing blow the team leader can take, and I was like, NOOO Garus... oh hes ok thats cool

hmmm i never even thought of that part there you said, it makes sense (to me anyway)

That's a very good point. Watching a video like this just reinforces my confusion with BioWare and how this ending came to be. If only I could get a sit down meeting with some of the team and ask them directly what on earth they were thinking after all the brilliance they have shown in the previous games.

To Mr. Hudson and Mr. Gamble if you happen to read this I will fly to Edmonton to speak with you if it means I get some answers from you.

lol yeah Garrus is always my team leader on the suicide mission, funny thing is everytime it happens i have the thought that "oh no, maybe he's going to go down this time around" even knowing he won't haha

Was listening to this song, and it on it's own reminds me of how awesome the ending of Mass Effect 2 was, and just why I (used to?) love the Mass Effect Series so much.

Good song and great thoughts. That song does a fantastic job capturing the epicness (for want of a better word) of the final ME2 mission -- which for most intents and purposes actually did feel like a suicide mission; a real, gruelling battle where your team actually had to work together and you could choose to absolutely bomb, or work hard enough and win. You can't win ME3. And sure, you can try to be trendy and make a video-game less like a video-game -- however that's meant to work -- but you better know what you're doing. They didn't. Turns out trying to make the ending of an epic game and finale to a trilogy less like the ending of an epic game is one of those things that you really shouldn't screw with. Which is basically what you said in your post. Haha.

It sucks, because I loved listening to that song. Now there's a whole lot of bittersweet in it.

hopfully he is a reaper ai designed to put off any cycle who gets far enough to threaten them.

He's a very naughty boy (congrats on those who get the Monty Python reference)

Honestly I don't know. As I mentioned a few posts ago, I'm confused how this writing team gave us that ending. Somewhere in the back of my head I can't completely accept that they thought that was the best ending and maybe there's the tiniest possibility that they're messing with us - but I don't think they are. I think with the Extended Cut they're probably going to give us more cut scenes showing more of the war assets in action and probably how our crew got to be on the Normandy. There might even be a bit of a scene where you see Shepard being pulled out of the rubble if s/he survived but I'm not sure what they can really do with what they've given us.

lmao i hadn't even noticed that until just now  and i agree with what you said above, its hard to fathom how they could possibly even consider giving us this ending let alone ship it out like this and be proud
