I saw something while playing Knights of the Old Republic just now and thought it seemed appropriate, with some slight modifications. Kind of sad, really, using BW's own dialogue against them.

And there's always this approach to customer service ...

lmao!! those are both great!  and that seems to be whats happening to them lately, their own things are being used against them such as pre-release claims and their own lore and like here their own dialogue haha

Sorry for the conversational segway, but after playing through the game (again) I realized what exactly I wanted from the ending of Mass Effect 3 (and while I might not get it, it'll still be something that touches the heart of this old war vet).

I wanted to be there, next to all the other grunts on Earth, when the Reapers felt the surge of red energy and subsequently shut down and fell to mother Earth. At that point, the soldiers raised their rifles in a collective cheer. I realized, that's where I wanted to be, raising my own rifle in the air in triumph. 'Cause as an Infantryman in the Army, that's where I should be.

But then again, Shepard did have something rather important to do...

Just getting that off my chest.

Well, I maybe old but not a vet, but I agree with you, I want that last part to be a real struggle with my squad, Anderson his troops, some of the alien races I recruited, a major battle to take down ground troop enemies and the smaller Reapers, then you all go up against Harbinger with support from the air, the Normandy leading.

I'm not going to take part in it.. I think we've done this, we've shown them, and, to be honest, they're pretty much giving me everything I asked for.. I didn't ask that the ending be wiped out and built from scratch, I asked that the finish it and apply the same amount of quality and effort that they did to the rest of the game.. part of that is fixing the plot holes and I'm sure they can do that WITHOUT wiping the ending... though Citadel Kid HAS become a beacon for our movement to rally against, I think the story can work with him in it... not as well as without, but it still can work with it.

The speculating activism is just looking for trouble, when you protest based on half truths, misunderstood things, PR speak, and individual opinion you're going to be protesting 8 different things and not even really know what you're trying to do.

I'm holding the line, an offensive is not required, at this time, from this soldier.

I agree totally, and not just because I refuse to stop spending time here, even for a day. 
I'll wait, and then I shall see whether it was worth it or not, and whether I'll touch Bioware's games and products ever again.

Hmm, I missed that bit, that's what I get trying to follow everything, I'm certainly going to be on BSN on that day, as for them shooting themselves in the foot we shall see, the ball is rolling and I don't want to be standing in it's way, I'm in agreement with you in part, like I said the other day, I don't think it will do the movement much harm, but I don't feel it will do a lot of good either.

I mean, it would be a good idea for me, since that weekend is the weekend when I'm supposed to be studying for my finals...

edit: if they mess up the extended cutscene, then I am willing to never buy a Bioware game again, but until them...just waiting here for summer.

Agreed, if EA and Bioware don't get it by now, they never will. I still am slightly optimistic.

EA and Bioware NEVER GET IT, there heads are so far up there own arses, were nothing to them, if they really did care for us and if they really did get it ME3 would have been fixed within 2 weeks not 3 months

Agree that maybe is not the best time to start an offensive but I personally will not accept the Citadel Kid and 3 colour choices as an ending to a trilogy no matter what they do. I've been told by a few ppl not to jump to conclusions but to remain positive and wait and see till the DLC is actually released and that's what I'm doing even tho it's becoming increasingly more difficult to remain positive.

Well, I'm kinda old and definately not a vet, but I agree completely. I've said many times that it feels like the end was chopped off abruptly, it is jarring. I really wanted a final battle, even if everyone dies, even if the Normandy slammed right into Harbinger to get the job done, gah it could have been epic.  But no, it was  Anyway, how is the line? Many yard upkeep chores this weekend.

I just spent almost 2 days downloading the Witcher 1 off of Steam, and now after it finished with all 15 GB, it won't get past the set up screen. I pick a mode, and start my new game, and the thing always crashes. Also, why the hell is a 5 year old game 15 GB? Lol.
