So we can't get the ending we want after all?

The overall videogames mechanics standard is being re-directed into fast action-packed, medium quality products (except some games and producers...)
BW always marked for its wonderful games, with excellent plot and nice gameplay.
With this major issues that DA2 and ME3 created...what are they going to do?
There are examples of high quality games such as Batman:AC (at least, that's what I think).
If software houses keep following this line, soon we'll have a bunch of CoD. Is this profitable?
I mean, if all games are identical, are they worth buying?

From what I remember in between the wtf, it just seemed like random soldiers that had been running to the beam. Then again, I haven't seen it mentioned in any of the videos covering the ending either.Lestatman wrote...

Also, looking at the thread that MeladarthX posted, someone mentions that after Harby's beam the bodies on the ground are Kaidan and Ashley look-a-likes? I don't remember this but I didn't look very closely, did anyone here get this?
On my 1st playthrough I was too busy thinking WTF? On my 2nd playthrough I was looking for Liara and Garrus as those where the 2 that came with me and I didn't see them. To be honest I can't remember if they actually followed me to the beam lol as I didn't turn around and look.

Well since I took Ashley on the final charge with me, I'm sure I was looking for her body after Shepard woke up following the laser attack. I didn't find her, so you could take that for whatever it means.Phoenix NL wrote...

Also Ashley walked out of the ship at the end.

It does make me wonder because BioWare has carved out a very nice little niche for itself with its previous games. If they stop making games like DA and ME then there isn't another company to really take its place that I'm aware of.Gardner295 wrote...

On my last run through, I kept panning to camera to see if Kaidan and Garrus were even with me on the run to the beam, and they were right behind me. Then I took the time to back track a bit to see if I could find them after the beam hit, also looked closely at the soldiers on the ground, there were a couple that had similar armor to Kaidan's original default armor from Mars, but they had helms on, so as far as I could find, I never saw them or anyone who really 'looked' like them.

Well there was the deleted scene that shows your squadmates you brought along getting blown apart as you watch. So I assume they were supposed to be coming with.Phoenix NL wrote...

I was refering to how they treat there community, example being if you already owned Witcher 2 you could upgrade to the Enhanced Edition for free & all dlc for the game was free. If Bioware was behind it, they would have charged $40 for the upgrade & $10 a pop for dlc.
