Had to run to store, but now I'm back, and maybe, MAYBE I can finish my essay today. Or modify it, it was finished 2 weeks ago... Process writing = meh.

As for my game list, you can pretty much tell I'm 90's kid, right? Though I got to gaming in earnest only year 2000-ish, when I got FF X. Before that it was mostly just easy simulators and sand box games for me. And I had never touched a shooter in my life before ME2.

Yes first 3 silent hill games made by Team Silent in Japan are the best...

Eheh :P I just loved that they could make a really immersive and creepy horror game while leaving you 4 different endings depending on your gameplay, and + 3 endings just for the fun of it. Also, the replay factor= the priiiiiiiize! :D

I have a confession to make: I have never played a single Silent Hill game. I like them, but at least the older ones are dreadful, DREADFUL controls-wise. And I know it's on purpose, I just can't function with awful controls, unless the graphics are really good. And they are not. And I just realised I'm a graphics ho' :crying:

Top five non Bioware games? Probably Final Fantasy VII, Planescape : Torment, Arc the Lad 3, Lost Odyssey, and Phoenix Wright for me. Gah that's hard though cause Bioware games are still my favorite style of gameplay.

Ending related: I couldn't properly rank ME3 even if I wanted to because I think of it more as a trilogy, like I wound a book series.

Good to see another Scot! I am Scot-Irish myself. Otherwise, not much news, we are just talkin' about the Witcher and the decline of Bioware. Mr.Bond posted another YouTube link a few hours ago.

*fixed*

I am full Scot hehe....well actually I am sure there are Irish in my ancestory but both my parents/grandparents are Scottish so *shrug* lol

And oh well I didn't really expect any news, there never really is. I kind of doubt there will  be until they are almost finished or they are actually finished with the EC DLC.

I don't think they have started working on the actual program part...they are probably writing it and starting to actually work. I mean, Michael Gamble said they were in a meeting for 4 hours last week and he said it wasn't the first time...

All we can do is sit around and make sure they understand what we want by posting our constructive feedback on the official thread.

And I got out of my dorm so I wouldn't come on BSN but here I am again...:?

I can say I believe without a doubt they've already been working on the programing part - had the story mostly fleshed out before this blew up in their face....

Mike confirmed this with a tweet and that now said tweet has been deleted.......and remember his original tweet.....

If people knew what we were working on there wouldn't be so much hate ------ meant towards the ending

I was just expanding my favourites list and didn't realize how often Nintendo keeps showing up, lol. They and their second parties show up 9 times in my 25 favourite games. A bit odd considering I haven't been playing their games for last 5+ years, as I don't even own a Wii.

They end up trumping the hell out of Bioware, who despite showing up very, very high three times on the list, also now have the distinction of making my 2 absolute least favourite games in Dragon Age II and Mass Effect 3. But I guess it helps that Nintendo has existed for a long time, and has the resourses to put out different games for different series' often. If anything, I hope Bioware stops trying to push out games often and just take their time instead.

I'd go ahead and just list all my favourites, but I don't think anyone actually cares, lol.

I like most modern shooters tbh. Not enough to precisely spend money on them, and MP is a no-no for most of them, I like my co-op to be co-op, but they're fun for a night or two. Bulletstorm is my favourite, it's insanely fun. Just good old fashioned brainless shooting with great graphics and dialogue to die for going on all the time on the background <3

@MeldarthX - can't quote on phone. Look at it this way, if you're proven right then they'll have used our feedback and improved on what they were already planning. I'm still going to wait for concrete proof from BioWare though.

There is nothing as frustrating as playing a Deathmatch in BF3 and getting murderised by rockets and mortar grenades everytime you spawn...

Your optimisim is rubbing off on me. I don't actually believe your theory, but it still makes me feel better, lol.

Also, what exactly did that deleted tweet say? I've never seen that one.

I've never been that big of a fan of Max Payne, but it was a really good and solid indie game at its time.

PS, could someone please tell me how to embed links into words with the forum code of BSN?

Type out whatever you want, and highlight it. Then click on the "Insert/Edit Link" button in the options there, and it should work out like this

Same as putting a link in, but you need to highlight the word you want to link before clicking the "Link button" (Earth with literal chain links), and just copy\\paste the link in the box as usual, like this

Edit: ^ I think it's clearer his way

Sweet dreams and I shall see you on the line tomorrow.

Side note- Its kinda bad when we've been here so long that we know people will be there the next day. Even if just lurking :?

Oh sorry about that, i see it can be obnoxious to a certain extent. But, since i was talking about Silent Hill, i thought i'd use some relatively relevent pictures!=]

Edit: Bad grammar; my bad, lads!

As long as you steer clear from New Zealand, USA should leave you alone, right? B)
I'm quiet atm since I'm trying to work David Herman (the researcher) into my essay as an afterthought, and trying my damned hardest to make it seem like it's not an afterthought.

I must say I think I'm not the only one who lamented the abandoning of rpg elements after me 1.
Ideal situation would be to to ask e question at the begining of the game how would you like to play it ..as shooter or RPG like like me 1...
I think in thé future that would be ideal and something Bioware needs to look into this .
