Here's the link to my blog post that I was talking about

Man that post was a ***** to format. No matter what I did, it kept coming out wrong. But it appears fine now.
A good read and I agree. The sad thing for me is ME3 at best is a good game not great in my eyes but just bordering on good because of Rannoch/Genophage just manage to save it.
That was my favourite part of the game, simply because of how my interactions with Legion leading up to killing the reaper played so heavily on my decision in the end. He lost my trust my trust by lying, I tried to stop him when he wanted to upload the reaper code, he tried to kill me, then I killed him (sorta).
It was seriously powerful stuff. The renegade moments \\when he was on his knees and I had a gun to his head, those were perfectly placed. I took the first two shots out of anger, but couldn't bring my self to actually take the final shot and kill him. And before he succumbs to his wounds, he asks again "Does this unit have a soul?". It just completely got to me.
Given all the griping I do about how choices never mattered, I love how personalized this specific story was.
So yeah, that's why it's my favourite moment in the game. But I also want to point out how stupid it is that Legion has to arbitrarily die no matter what option you take, lol.
Self contained there are a couple of moments in this game that work well like that. But none of it is allowed to tie together by the game. Which is very sad.
