I was chatting with some people about this on another thread but we couldn't come up with the answer - why is there so much cut dialogue from the game hidden in the files etc? I know they won't use everything they record but there seems to be an awful lot of cut audio floating around, i.e. the extended talk with Anderson on the Citadel before starbrat.

I've got the final hours app with the a deleted scene where Liara and Garrus get fried by harby.

I can think of some reasons why it was deleted.
1. they did not want to upset the fans near game end, oops.
2. Disk space, nah, does not work for me.
3. Seeing Liara or Garrus step out of the crashed Normandy would make the deleted scene obsolete.

I opt for number 3.

A) it is not just cinematics cinematics might be interactive c) what does the tweet have to do with this? 

bethesta made a WHOLE NEW ENDING to fallout in TWO WEEKS which added cinimatics, which added a level added new choices hell they added a WHOLE TON OF THINGS in just TWO WEEKS

bioware is taking MONTHS just to add cinimatics (yes it is just cinimatics bioware were telling us that its CLARIFICATION there is NO EXTRA CHOICES NO EXTRA ENDINGS.

that tweet as from last week when gamble said he was having a meeting about the clarification DLC.

I got that app but haven't looked at it yet. Thought it might make the ending fiasco worse!

i think the cut audio / visual might be added to future DLC,, or that if your new to the franchise and this is the first mass effect game maybe those were to tie in with deaths of certain squadmates if you dident get a high enough EMS.

I was just thinking about entirely something else.
All those plotholes and such, and a dev twittering "If they knew what we are working on..."

I never really supported the IT, but I must say it's a genius idea.
In the beginning I thought, I'll wait till PAX, a month after game release and that BW would say: gotcha, you can start of where you left, provided you chose the destroy ending, it was a dream.

Well, was I wrong.

Then again, they must have anticipated that this endings, -despite Mr. Hudson himself citing that there will not be an A,B or C ending, among all other things- would trigger mass protests.

So they just wait until it burns out in a few months, eventually it will -indoctrination complete- and give us the rest of the game.

Gotcha ? Would be awesome, would it not ?

Pretty much this, I want the game/other two to be playable again instead of thinking "what's the point anymore"

You're right.

I had hopes in the beginning, and when that hope died of, I was like.... ok cya Mass Effect.

But I just can't.... I'm 33 now and I have been geaming since I was 5 years old and the ME series are the best out there... ever.

I quit playing the ME3 multiplayer, I did that because I could not finish me 2nd ME3 walkthrough, while I have a dozen of ME2's to import...

Instead, I started playing Mass Effect... I know where it ends but it's still a hell of a ride.

They better fix those goddamn endings, and the side-quests that aren't.... side-quests... common, overhearing a convo gets the mission triggered and all you have to do is scan? no shore party to actually get your war assets ?

Ah yes - the side quests... It tells much about how bad the ending is when the pain about the ending overrides the pain the side quests (that do not even earn the name side quest) cause...

I'm getting over the last bits of one 5 days ago. The phflem seems to linger. However, for the first few days you can't really sleep and doze off and on all day. You end up with some very weird dreams/hallucinations. Say hi to Starbrat for me.....
