I don't think he knows about second breakfast. Or elevenses.

Yup, I'll be living in my car soon if I can't find work.  I've held 4 jobs over 20+ years, 3 of them in very different, but highly technical fields, and atm around here, not even McDonald's is hiring.

I figured that price must have been posted, but better safe than sorry.  I was like, "wow" when I saw it.  Knowing what I know now I wouldnt pay $30 for it either, but thats me.

I hope you find a job soon!

And yeah...I think I wouldn't even want it for free...I would try to spare myself of the depression that follows the ending of ME3...<_<

It's such a shame because I thought ME3 was fantastic up until the ending. I could easily overlook the smaller glitches and issues and I thought it was money well spent up until the last 10-15 minutes....

The hobbit you just called fat? He's skipping 2nd breakfast. The dwarf woman you called ugly? She spends hours braiding her beard so you can differentiate her from a dwarf man. The Uruk-Hai you just killed? He's been abused by Saruman. See that Gollum creature with the gangly limbs and large eyes? For 500 years the Ring poisoned his mind. That Elf you just made fun of for crying? She just lost her wizard friend to a Balrog. Repost this if you're against bullying in Middle-Earth.

Since I lost the unrelated video contest, I have to try something else.

Fantastic is definately not the word I would use.  Good maybe average probably.  Apart from the Genophage/Rannoch I struggle to find anything else that really stands out.

Well everyone has their own opinion. I really liked it and thought it was a good end to the trilogy, at least until the ending. Yes there are things that could have been done differently or added to but overall I think they did a really good job. But like I said, that's my opinion and you're perfectly entitled to yours Image IPB

I'm away from the boards for a few, going to create a new character in ME2 hopefully to use in ME3 when the ended dlc is released.

Be grateful again if someone could post the list on the next page, I'll back in a few.

I agree. I am extremely analytical, and I actively found flaws throughout the game because of it. I still enjoyed it untill the ending, however, the entire time it was missing that special spark from the First Mass Effect. The famous Rannoch and Tuchanka levels had that spark, but many things felt colourless. The ambient dialogue during missions did make me laugh out loud when I do not think I was supposed to...:?

I actually loved most of the LI scenes (at least for Kaidan, they were awesome), but I still think they couldn've done it better.

ME3 was such a deception...:crying:

Man, they announced ME3 for 29,99 on Amazon, and people went bananas on FB. Angry! Very angry people. And they're right.

I think it's quite clear that one of two things happened:

- some game director said that he won't change his "artistic vision", and pride will make them fall.
or
- EA said that they don't need to spend so much money to save the game, and "artistic vision" is just the PR's excuse.

I tend to imagine that the second option is the most probable. And that they think their public will always be there for their games. Which is the first step into breaking a company. But, hey. They think they know best, so... the only thing I can do is sit, mark my position "pro-new endings" here, and watch.

It also seems like EA pulled the plug on ME3. I think they realized that SP content will be badly received if they don't remake the ending, and since they decided to go with the "artistic vision" story, there's not much to be done for SP. They can still milk that cow through MP, although, it doesn't look like MP alone is saving the game.

They will let it die quietly. Invest in other games, maybe a new franchise, DA3 (not sure I'll buy, didn't like very much DA at all), and then take the next step in the new ME franchise. And hope time and it being a new series will make people forget all this.

Not the virtuous course of action, but probably the best strategically. For some, that's all that matters.

The ending decision from BW, I mean, the decision not to extend and give a real ending, is also influencing people into digging into ME3's other glaring defects, like the journal, the "fetch" side-quests, auto-dialogue, weak companion list, and others. "Space-Bieber" for the ending being the final word from BW is just making it a snowball.

If that were the case then why is Mike Gamble tweeting about how positive all this work is going for the ME3 dlc etc.
They haven't pulled the plug at all, they're just working on it at the moment.

Defending the ending is legitimate for Bioware.

In your opinion, Hudson Gamble etc... are aware that the ending IS REALLY REALLY REALLY BAD?

I don't mean the "ending" DLC. I mean, after it. It doesn't look like new SP dlcs will be made. It seems of no use, anyway. I don't think anyone would buy it after just an "explanation" or "more closure" dlc, something no one wanted in the first place.

Everybody knows. Or at least, now they realized how inadequate it is. Defending it is PR talk.

Yes, they have the right to behave however they want about it. It's their game. They are "entitled" to it. ;)

But they must realize that it's also our right to behave however we want about this decision. And it's our money.
