This week's greatest PR spin, unlike last week's enraging attempt is actually quite good!

EA's now taking the fact that 6 week old ME3 has dropped in price to less than Skyrim, the 6 month old game, by $10 to $29.99 on Amazon and trying to make it out like it's a big sale (Yay everyone loves sales!)

Nah see, I'm optimistic enough that the Extended Cut is going to make the ending acceptable, and that will push the game back up into "HOLY FREAKEN COW THIS GAME IS AMAZING" territory... could have been "BEST GAME EVAR" but then it took an ending to the knee...

Get it while it's cheap, won't hate yourself in a couple months when the Extended cut comes out and the price probably goes back up $10 or so.  

Add another reason to the list... to not know EA, or future bioware zhit... I mean products.

Doubt it. I can't see EA ever pushing a release day back on a AAA game if they think they can make money on it anyways. And companies like EA have extremely short memories, this'll happen again, and they'll say ,"We had no idea our fans would react this way." again.

Actually no. Money grubbers have a very long memory for things that actually cost them money. And this has cost them more money than anyone ever dreamed. Even I didn't think it would get this big when I joined retake on the 8th.

So yeah, I'm fairly sure that EA will learn not to sell a blatantly incomplete game.

As for pushing back AAA titles. They might keep the practice. But I promise you that next time they'll take two or three looks at the product before they say the definitive yay or ne

i think people are at least hoping that they can admit their mistakes. That's not them saying their game sucks or anything.

All I will say for now is that the endings as they stand suck. However, we do not have all the facts at the moment and BioWare does so until they have revealed their hand to us we cannot expect them to admit to any mistakes or make any apologies. It's easy to get angry at them or annoyed about how they're handling things but we don't have any evidence to suggest that they are pulling the plug on ME SP or anything like that. I would just prefer we stick to what we do know for certain.

I don't think they're going to pull the plug on SP DLC. In fact, I think they'll make an active push with it regardless of what even happens with the endings DLC.

But with regards to them handling the endings DLC itself, I think it's fair to be upset with how they've been doing it. Yes they do hold the cards, and they are keeping them close to their chest. However it's only logical that if they had something to offer that could placate these fans, they would release a real tidbit or something otherwise significant and concrete that these people could latch on to. Because I don't think they're stupid enough not to realize that the fans are at best skeptical about the DLC, and at worst more angry about the game than they were before they heard the news. But they haven't done anything. That's why despite how optimistic I want to be about this DLC, it feels like nothing more than a massive delay tactic.

ya somthing like that, the player was celebrating his team getting to the champions final(beating argubly the best team in the world) and the com first words pointed out to him that he would not be able to play in the final, the player had a face on him like i did when i got to the end of ME3, there was just no need to do that on live tv

I turned off the game as soon as the match ended. I'm assuming that was in reference to Terry or something.
